...to see what your (master) bedroom looks like?

I can vaguely remember similar threads but have done a search and can't find a bedroom one. We are swapping rooms in our upstairs to even out the other 2 rooms so moving from front to back of house. Just being nosy looking for inspiration if anyone is willing to post? I can post our current one once DS is asleep

I was arguing with crumbs on another thread as she claimed (and posters believed her) that she had dc on a bursary at Wellington while earning 350k. You always get the Walter Mitty types.
I was the only one to doubt her though.

Autumnchill, you and Ginandonit are converting me to F&B! Who did the paintings above your guest bed? They look similar to a couple my MIL has - I love them! (Also, gorgeous kitties!)

Bab my friend did them. I saw them in an Ideal Homes magazine and they were £120 each but the blue and white was so perfect for the room so I asked if she could do me some that were similar. Cost me £56 for the framing and a bottle of wine for friend.

The paint was matched by Valspar as better quality paint than F&B (and cheaper!)

It's an underwater photo on my bedroom wall, not a painting. It won first prize in a photography competition in Singapore and then was sold by a gallery. Dh loves it, took me a while to get used to it but it's grown on me.....

Crumbs, where on rue du bac? I lived on rue du bac in Paris for 3 years....

for my sons room I took a paint swatch from F&B book and got it matched at B&Q for half the price
F&B have beautiful colours but not a matching beautiful price!

Just decorated mine. First time I've ever attempted wallpapering.

I thought I had one but this is just the windows in my bed room and 2 chairs so not very interesting at all. May be I will take one tomorrow actually showing the bed!

This is from the estate agent when we bought the house a year ago. The rig has gone but we kept everything else pretty much the same.

These rooms are huge & gorgeous!! Mine is a mess and sort of decorated with cats in mind, as in, oversized cat tree that takes up way too much space (but they use it a lot so it's staying) and bed covered in ugly throw so they don't destroy my bedding with their muddy paws. (one cat in the top tree in pic)

I do like my light fitting & cornicing though

I was considering posting a photo of a completely over the top hotel room in jest.. But I see crumbs best me to it, minus the joking element.

I'm very jealous of some of these though! Especially people with enough rooms to have wardrobes elsewhere.

Love it.

The bedroom was the first room we did when we moved in 8 years ago, a friend who'd done an interior design course helped me get the posh hotel room look that I was after and still love it (when it's tidy!)

Loving all these rooms. Daily dance love your ceiling rose and your mirror. Thanks for lovely comments, it my room doesn't;t look anywhere near as nice when you can see the dust bunnies and the piles of rubbish on the bedside tables.

wandering I'm envious of your fireplace (and beautiful room). What colours have you used?

Ours is a disaster area at the moment. We're waiting to get it plastered because of wedding cake artex on the ceiling, hideous in your face flowery wallpaper and a random purple patch that was behind a wardrobes the previous owners took with them. The curtain rail is broken and our furniture doesn't really fit. Dh is asleep there now so I'll post a picture tomorrow. It'll cheer up anyone feeling bad about their room!

These pics have inspired me to sort my room out. Currently I'm revamping the lounge. When that's done, I'm moving onto the bedroom.

The thought of actually sharing a photo of my bedroom with you all is bringing me out in a cold sweat. (scuttles off to said bedroom - read "dive" - in shame)
