Males in female prisons

WankingMonkey · 15/01/2017 17:25

I have noticed a fair bit of support for 'identification' over sex on MN. I am just wondering what peoples opinions are on males wanting into female prisons because they are 'trans'?

If possible, have a think, write out a reply...and then read this

www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/soham-child-killer-ian-huntley-9626220

As I have seen many defenses along the lines of 'noone would pretend to be a woman' and such. But here we have a clear example of this in action. And it is impossible to let 'some' do it and not others, isn't it. You can't make laws without clear boundaries of course.

I actually can't believe it has taken someone like Huntley to wake up a fair few of my friends, this is all over my facebook today with people suddenly u-turning on their previous stance...

slimming on what basis do you think Tara was "clearly" waiting for a sex change? Tara hadn't even seen their GP- not in the system at all.

Tara earns a living penetrating clients with their "7 inch surprise". I don't think they have any intention of losing their livelihood

Slimmingsnake · 15/01/2017 20:34

Why would anyone dress like the opposite sex and then not have the correct operation...4 out of 5 people ect

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 15/01/2017 20:34

Agree with AskBasil, the system doesn't work via 'nice people' get what they want but 'naughty people' can shove off. Otherwise prisoners would never receive cancer treatment, attendance at funerals etc. If Huntley wants it there's a good chance he'll get it

AskBasil · 15/01/2017 20:34

Slimming Tara was dressing as a (sexed up male fantasy of a) woman before Tara was sent to prison, but not before Tara committed the crime. Tara was living and presenting as a man when the crime was committed.

So you could equally say that when Tara realised that prison was on the cards, Tara made the calculation that dressing as a woman for a while, would be a good move.

But obviously, removing the 7 inch surprise wasn't part of the plan.

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 15/01/2017 20:35

Good question slimming. And why so many MNers are sceptical on trans issues

AskBasil · 15/01/2017 20:35

Autogynephilia

Slimmingsnake · 15/01/2017 20:36

Perhaps I am getting confused..the lady I saw in the paper that was moved to a women's prison ,had blond hair and looked quite delicate ,no mention of surprises ...I must be getting mixed up sorry

TammySwansonxx · 15/01/2017 20:38

slimming lots of reasons. In the case of late transitioning males, they are often autogynaephiles - an extreme cross dressing fetish where the individual fantasises about being a woman, but needs to keep their genitals intact so they can wank off to how gorgeous and sexy they are.

You might ask why Caitlin Jenner, with all their money and willingness to undergo surgery (even have facial feminisation surgery) didn't have their genitals done.

As a PP said, 70-80% of TRanswomen (TW) keep their penises. It's an old narrative that TW hate their bodies and are revolted by them. Many revel in their "girl cocks" and "lady dicks". And lesbians who refuse to have sex with them are horrible, transphobic bigots.

SpeakNoWords · 15/01/2017 20:39

The pictures used of Tara Hudson in the press were the ones where Tara looked more feminine, unsurprisingly. The mainstream reported failed to mention Tara's work as a prostitute where Tara's male features were an integral part of the services offered.

WankingMonkey · 15/01/2017 20:39

But she was dressing as a woman way before she got sent to prison...she clearly was waiting for a sex change, genuinely wanting to be female....not like other people ...Ian ...who are doing it to get out of a rough prison

Tara was a male, with breast implants, a penis and a more 'feminine' appearance. Looking 'like a woman' shouldn't come into it. Some of the most masculine looking people I know are females.

I signed the petition for Tara btw, back when I blindly supported it all. I did not, until fairly recently know that Tara was violent towards females, nor that 'she' still had a penis that 'she' was proud of.

No slimming you are thinking of the right person. Of course when Tara was campaigning to be moved to a women's prison they didn't advertise the fully functional status of their male genitalia. Tara and Tara's mother said Tara had "surgery" (which presumably was a misleading reference to the breast implants). But looking at Tara's sex work page and the happy reviews, Tara definitely has a working penis.

AskBasil · 15/01/2017 20:40

Here's Tara:

Tara Hudson

The beeb doesn't mention the dick.

MysticTwat · 15/01/2017 20:42

slimming No you are not mixed up, you were misled my the media who are heavily influenced by Transactivists.

Whatthefreakinwhatnow · 15/01/2017 20:42

Prisons are not just defined by the sex of the offenders housed there, they are separated into categories based on the offenders category status, as well as its secondary function ie- a training estate, sex offender specific etc.
Therefore, to say stick on an extra wing for trans offenders really isn't that straightforward.

Slimmingsnake · 15/01/2017 20:43

Blimey, well thanks Tammy I've learned something new tonight....I always thought if someone was claiming they thought they were female, and dressing as one,but clearly a male...well they must really belive that..because life is hard enough.jobs, money, bills, house ?...so why make life more difficult by setting yourself up to be rediculed by others ,,if you don't really belive that you are the opposite sex....also the operation is none reversible so who would do that if they didn't really belive they were in the wrong body.....

Whatthefreakinwhatnow · 15/01/2017 20:43

This is my field of employment BTW.

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 15/01/2017 20:44

Tara had 8 convictions for assault, and has the audacity to say they fear assault from men.

AskBasil · 15/01/2017 20:46

TBF, I think some men genuinely do believe that they are women and that their penises are female organs. The logic is that they are women, therefore their penises are women-penises. If you believe that being a woman is a question of a strongly-held belief that you are, it's perfectly logical.

Slimmingsnake · 15/01/2017 20:46

Speak no words...wow...had no idea....why would the press leave that information out of reporting....that's gross I had no idea about that

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 15/01/2017 20:47

What I also am a bit Hmm about the special wings. Where are these supposed to go? Funded by whom? I suspect most prisons are overcrowded enough?

Slimmingsnake · 15/01/2017 20:50

So what happened to Tara ...is she in or out of prison?...must be a very mixed up violent person ....

SpeakNoWords · 15/01/2017 20:50

slimming because they failed to do even a cursory bit of research, and jumped straight into the current trans activist narrative without engaging their critical thinking skills.

TammySwansonxx · 15/01/2017 20:50

Hi slimming - it's a head fuck isn't it? Welcome to what's known as "peak trans". It's where you go from being nice and supportive to going "eh, what the fuck?" as you realise that the "arguments" have no basis in logic or fact.

The idea of a transsexual who hates their body and has had or is desperately awaiting surgery is long gone. Anyone who says "I feel like a woman" is now a woman. Regardless of appearance, how they live etc. And to question this makes you a terrible bigot, committing literal violence, and therefore you're fair game for rape and death threats.

Whatthe

I had thought that about the categories and funding, but am not sure what the alternative is?
