To think SAHM's have an easier life?

I understand this won't please everyone but I'm referring to SAHMs with school age children. I read lots of articles - one today on Facebook - which talk about how SAHMs "work" at home doing a hundred domestic chores. However I work full time and still have to do the exact same number of domestic chores - I just have less time to do them. Am I missing something??

Yes to partner having it easier. On here we have women saying that they work all day, come home cook a meal for their husband, sort kids bedtime etc.
My dh does none of this as I have a few child free hours per day.
When my youngest starts reception I intend Richard one more year studying and than back to work.

Also just has to get himself up and go to work. I am the one getting 3 kids up , dressed and out. Something which working single parents and households with two working patents have to do although in the latter case it should be 50 50.

Depends how much earning potential you're giving up. Being a SAHM might be easier, but if you're foregoing a decent salary to have 6 hours of leisure/cleaning time a day then you might be kidding yourself. If you can work instead and afford cleaners And potentially a childminder to pick up the slack, weekends will probably be more quality time with family and able to enjoy a wider range of paid for leisure activities.

Plus you'll be able to save more towards a pension so come old age you will definitely have an easier life than if you spent your working powerhouse years hoovering, chat-and-coffeeing and homes-under-the-hammering.
