Ungrateful Friend

Hi all so as the title says AIBU to think my friend is an ungrateful witch ? Said friend is always up for a laugh and a joke but she appears to have got the right arse about the birthday present I sent her Hmm

She hasn't really said but know she's off with me. I really thought she'd love it whether she used them or not purely for the joke factor.

SaltySalt · 11/01/2017 18:39

Is that all you got her?

ghostwatch · 11/01/2017 18:42

Maybe there is something else up with her ? Might not be the gift

AcrossthePond55 · 11/01/2017 18:42

I expect I'd smile if I got glitter poo capsules if they were accompanied by a bad poem about being 'sparkling' or 'brilliant', but by themselves? I think I'd be a bit Hmm but shrug it off.

But it certainly would start a trend for 'gag' gifts in general with that friend rather than thoughtful presents.

She's probably not off with you, just too busy marvelling at her sparkly shit Grin

Laughed so hard at this the pets are looking at me funny Grin

maggiethemagpie · 11/01/2017 18:48

You never know, maybe she's saving the 'result' for you to show you how great it works!

Bluntness100 · 11/01/2017 18:49

What do you normally get each other? Is it proper gifts or usually just jokes?

Dagnabit · 11/01/2017 18:49

Maybe she'll shit in a jar then give it to you for your birthday present....

NotLadyPrickshit · 11/01/2017 18:49

OP when is your birthday? I think Maggie may have a point 😂😂

TrustySnail · 11/01/2017 18:49

the packaging clearly states that it's edible glitter

I take the point, and imagined it probably would, but I suffer from piles, so I'd be taking no chances of having to poo scratchy glitter past them Grin.

LuluLovesFruitcakes · 11/01/2017 18:54

Maggie has a point...what if she posts her glittery shit to you OP?!

Treaclex · 11/01/2017 19:05

That was all I sent her as her birthday was right after Christmas however she's unaware that I plan to send her a birthday gift later in the year which won't be as jokey as I know how it feels to have a birthday so close to Christmas. Mines the 25th and if she sends me glittery shit I'll howl

OP posts:
Treaclex · 11/01/2017 19:06

Ouch Trusty maybe she's discovered she has piles and being a bit off

OP posts:
MadMags · 11/01/2017 19:07

I'd laugh if it was a jokey thing to go along with a real present, unless you always get each other joke presents?

But you don't sound like you like her very much, tbh.

Treaclex · 11/01/2017 19:09

Of course I like her otherwise I wouldn't have spent a penny

OP posts:
MadMags · 11/01/2017 19:10

Ok...

So do you usually just do piss taking presents then?

Treaclex · 11/01/2017 19:14

Not always but it was her who gave me the idea as it was her who told me about them in the first place and she seemed pretty intrigued in if they worked or not so thought although it was a jokey present that she'd actually like it as I'd remembered her telling me about them.

OP posts:
youngestisapsycho · 11/01/2017 19:14

Unless you shit on a plate, how do you see your glittery shit?

wendytorrence · 11/01/2017 19:16

I've got Crohn's disease and I would find that hilarious, especially when I have to provide a stool sample for the hospital! Grin

Treaclex · 11/01/2017 19:17

I'm guessing when you wipe your arse you'll see it on the paper Wink

OP posts:
Summerwood1 · 11/01/2017 19:21

Oh!

LuluLovesFruitcakes · 11/01/2017 19:23

Treacle you sound like a good pair of friends! I'm really intrigued if they worked Grin

ButteredToastAndStrawberryJam · 11/01/2017 19:25

Bits of metal or plastic in your system, sounds dangerous, the ones on Ebay say not for human consumption, looks like someones put craft glitter into tablet capsules.
