To ask if you sleep naked?

Been having problems sleeping recently and been scouring the net to look for things to help. One thing suggested was to sleep naked. Apparently there are many reasons it's better for your health, not just a better sex life. Although I've not solved the sleep problems yet, I'm definitely a fan now. I feel more comfy in bed, sweat less and don't get that feeling that I'm on the verge of a uti any more.
Any one else never wear anything in bed?

This is reminding me to get new pyjamas as I love the feel of fresh clean pyjamas! It's been a real eye opener how many people sleep naked. So interesting - genuinely didn't think it was so common

LastLeaf · 13/01/2017 09:41

I always sleep naked (unless I am on my period) I can't bear to sleep in anything - clothes end up riding up etc. I do have some lovely pjs though! I just don't sleep in them.

ShebaShimmyShake · 13/01/2017 09:44

I hate sleeping naked. Always get cold and my tits need support. PJs with a soft cup bra, or a Bravissimo pyjama top with built in support works for me.

MusicToMyEars800 · 13/01/2017 10:28

always sleep naked I wear absolutely nothing in bed same with my OH, I don't need to worry about getting cold because OH is always weirdly hot so he acts as a human hot water bottle Grin, I also find it more comfortable, when I used to wear bra, pjs etc I would get really agitated with my bra moving and digging in when I laid in certain positions, I sleep on my side with one leg stretched out and the other one bent up with my bum sticking out lol, but I always got annoyed when my trouser leg would ride up my leg and then i'd end up getting too hot during the night.. so I stopped wearing pjs and underwear to bed, best decision I made!

ginghamstarfish · 13/01/2017 12:16

Love pjs but only for lounging about, can't sleep in them. I've found that the best thing to sleep in is a fitting stretchy vest top which gives a bit of support, and a pair of boy-short type knickers, or in fact just bought some men's underpants, the jersey type boxers with a wide elastic waistband, which are very comfy!

Dowser · 13/01/2017 12:21

Just a little cami type nightdress.
It's a boob thing.
Dh yes

Peach9876 · 13/01/2017 13:15

I sleep with knickers on, I feel uncomfortable otherwise but not sure why... DP sleeps completely naked.
We try to cover up more if we have guests staying over but usually end up in just underwear anyway.
Not sure what we will do if we have kids. I sort of think to begin with with a baby it doesn't matter, but once they can talk not sure I want them mentioning seeing mummy's saggy boobs or daddy's dangly bits to anyone.

CockacidalManiac · 13/01/2017 13:37

Here's me and my OH in our night attire

Aki23 · 13/01/2017 13:53

only if its really hot, otherwise pjs and knickers at the very least

EnormousTiger · 13/01/2017 14:35

Yes, nothing.

Giddyaunt18 · 13/01/2017 14:54

Never. I always sleep badly if I do.I wear PJs. Even when it's very hot I will wear a cotton scrappy nightdress and kick covers off.

Giddyaunt18 · 13/01/2017 14:54

Never knickers!!!! Shock

Guadalupe · 13/01/2017 15:02

I am really surprised so many people sleep naked in the winter. I am always freezing and sometimes wear two tops and socks, with a hot water bottle! I also have two blankets on my side of the bed.

I don't like pyjama bottoms though. I find anything on my legs annoying.

Sniv · 13/01/2017 15:10

I always wear PJs. I don't like the feeling of skin pressing against skin, like my arm against my side or my legs against each other - makes me feel all sweaty. I also generally overheat in the night with or without PJs, and the temperature shock of sticking a clad leg out of the duvet is much better than a bare leg.

bananafish81 · 13/01/2017 15:13

I tried sleeping in just my pyjama top and knickers and socks last night, to try bare legs in winter, after reading this thread (not brave enough to try without top or socks and definitely not without knickers!). I was freezing - ended up getting up to put pyjama bottoms on at 4am!

EnormousTiger · 13/01/2017 16:43

I have a hot shower before bed (but sleep with the window open winter and summer). that may be why I'm not cold. (The heating is not on when I'm asleep and I pull the duvet round me a bit like a sleeping bag and am not cold naked).

Judydreamsofhorses · 13/01/2017 20:58

Naked mostly here, but occasionally one of DP's t-shirts. I put pyjamas on as soon as I get in the door, but they come off for actual bed.

Oysterbabe · 13/01/2017 21:03

I used to but now get up eleventy billion times a night to quiet baby.

Magicpaintbrush · 13/01/2017 21:09

No, I would freeze to my bitter death!!! I need my PJs!!! But I do hate wrinkles/creases in my pjs so spend ages faffing to get comfy. As of about a month ago I wear a sports bra under my Pjs as I cannot stand them jiggling about unsupported, every time the nips brush the material of my Pjs they are so sensitive it's like an electric shock, so now I strap em down!!! It works a treatGrin

Ditsyprint40 · 13/01/2017 21:12

T shirt and pants in winter, just pants in summer. Can't not wear pants in bed, it feels weird 😐

1stWorldProblems · 14/01/2017 00:36

Entire family of nakeds here - winter-weight duvets and in the kids case socks (as feet get cold when they escape the duvet. I wear socks if alone. Only wear PJ's for breakfast with guests or if ill. Dressing gowns are for getting about the rest of the house. I come from a family of nakeds so find the idea of wearing anything esp undies odd - I did wear a button-up nightshirt whilst breastfeeding but that's so I could sleep with my arms out / protecting the baby.

The Today programme has some recommendationson on Monday

frenchfancy81 · 14/01/2017 00:56

Always. Well....mostly always, unless freezing!

GilMartin · 14/01/2017 01:00

Bloody hell, you are all as hard as nails or have super warm bedrooms. I am wearing flannel pyjamas and thick socks on.

On the odd occasion I've done it, my shoulders get unbearably cold.

Mindtrope · 15/01/2017 01:44

No way. I live in rural Scotland. I sleep in thick flannel pyjamas, socks and dressing gown, I still often wake up cold.

Oldraver · 15/01/2017 10:50

Usually just pants, though they get chucked occasionally
