To ask if you sleep naked?

Been having problems sleeping recently and been scouring the net to look for things to help. One thing suggested was to sleep naked. Apparently there are many reasons it's better for your health, not just a better sex life. Although I've not solved the sleep problems yet, I'm definitely a fan now. I feel more comfy in bed, sweat less and don't get that feeling that I'm on the verge of a uti any more.
Any one else never wear anything in bed?

No, even when unbearably hot in my room at night (in Australia with no air con) I still wear pants.

BadLad · 09/01/2017 06:42

It's going to be interesting to see if anyone who says yes on this thread also says they go to the supermarket in their pyjamas on those threads.

"We don't have any curtains or blinds - anywhere"

Our neighbours opposite would be able to see everything if we didn't have any curtains. I feel too vulnerable to have curtains open after dark. Our back isn't overlooked so I don't always close the curtains there, except for the fact it makes the living room feel too dark. I need the reflection of the light on our cream curtains to make the room brighter.

I'm with treacle. Pants and tee shirt at the very least. 😱

WanderLustingLane · 09/01/2017 07:03

I can only sleep naked and in a freezing cold room.

Both my children strip off at some point in the night as well, usually in their sleep

GinIsIn · 09/01/2017 07:05

Never - then I would have to get dressed to go to tescos..... Grin

Dragonglass · 09/01/2017 07:13

I love pjs but never where them to bed. I wear my pjs in the evenings and first thing in the morning but sleep naked. My dressing gown in right next to the bed so i can can grab it and put it on in the middle of the night.

treaclesoda · 09/01/2017 07:45

I'm a pyjama wearer, but only in the house, not to Tesco. And not when I have visitors Smile

FruitCider · 09/01/2017 07:50

I wear pants in bed as a minimum for hygiene reasons. You know the reasons you should change your pants every day? The same reasons apply to your bedding if you sleep naked. Poo crumbs, sweat and vaginal discharge! Bet those that sleep naked don't change the bedding every day Wink

PurpleNurple69 · 09/01/2017 07:55

Naked always except period week when I wear knickers. I get hot and sweaty as it is without adding jammies to the mix!

StarkintheSouth · 09/01/2017 07:55

Rarely sleep with anything on - only if it's very very cold or if staying at a someone else's house. Been that way for years!!

Nataleejah · 09/01/2017 08:11

But do you share a bed with pets? Because claws.
That's the reason i don't sleep naked. Sharing bed with 3 cats Blush

oblada · 09/01/2017 08:21

Yep always have always will. Except periods. OH tends to wear underpants on in case the kids call as he's getting self conscious. I'm less bothered and we've got two girls 2 and 5 so still v young. I don't walk around the house naked but definitely find sleeping in pj's a bit of an inconvenience. Would definitely not go to the shops in my pj's! :) actually I don't rly have pj's. I like the idea of them but don't like wearing them for the night and I find lounge wear more comfy during the day anyway!

blueshoes · 09/01/2017 08:29

Not me. I am very non-hairy and it gets chilly. Dh on the other hand ...

2rebecca · 09/01/2017 09:42

yes if it's warm enough. In winter I wear something as my husband needs a cooler duvet than me and putting an extra one over me is more of a fangle than just wearing something. He is always naked and doesn't possess pjs.

pilates · 09/01/2017 09:46

No, I can't sleep naked.

I suppose it's what you get used to.

RentANDBills · 09/01/2017 09:49

I prefer to sleep in as little as possible but if I'm feeling particularly anxious then I'll get night terrors if I'm naked, usually waking up thinking I'm in public or someone other than DP is in bed with me.
Its kind of like an extreme version of dreaming you're at work without your clothes.

Monkeybunkey · 09/01/2017 09:50

Naked all year round (and window slightly open for ventilation on the other side of the room). I'm large of nork too, but it's nice not to have a bra on for 7 or so hours!

UpsyDaisyluvsIgglePiggle · 09/01/2017 09:56

Completely naked unless I'm too cold then socks on. Stupid but if I'm cold I need only put on socks and I'm fine again. Doesn't work the same for out of house though... Grin

Dh always too warm but he will insist on wearing t shirt and boxers. He shouldn't have positioned himself on radiator side of bed then! But he doesn't like being closer to door. It's my job to fight the monsters apparently...

CurlsandCurves · 09/01/2017 10:04

I always sleep naked. I don't like the feeling when nightclothes ride up or get twisted around when I sleep in them.

The kids are getting older but they no longer come in during the night.

HandsomeDevil · 09/01/2017 10:07

i used to sleep naked before I had DC

when they went through the phases of being up a million times a night for all sorts of spurious reasons (which seemed, between 2 DC, to last about seven years), I started wearing a cami and pants. Not because I thought it was wrong for them to see me naked, but because I could never find my dressing gown in the dark, and felt I lacked gravitas going in to tell them to stop mucking about with my breasts flapping about everywhere.

now the DC are bigger I still wear a cami and pants as i got used to it.

WhiskyChick · 09/01/2017 10:08

I sleep naked. Unless we have his kids, then I wear pjs.

shrunkenhead · 09/01/2017 11:30

I'm too fat and scared of having to leave house in a hurry (due to fire) or having to attack burglars etc

OptimisticSix · 09/01/2017 11:46

I always sleep naked except when I have my period or I'm sleeping away from home - then I wear knickers.

seventhgonickname · 09/01/2017 13:58

Sleep naked, don't change bedding daily!I don't have crumby genitals and if I found vaginal discharge on my sheets I would get it treated.
Nothing nicer than being naked withclean sheets after a bath.
