To ask if you sleep naked?

Been having problems sleeping recently and been scouring the net to look for things to help. One thing suggested was to sleep naked. Apparently there are many reasons it's better for your health, not just a better sex life. Although I've not solved the sleep problems yet, I'm definitely a fan now. I feel more comfy in bed, sweat less and don't get that feeling that I'm on the verge of a uti any more.
Any one else never wear anything in bed?

I just can't imagine NOT being naked! That being said, I do love being naked and wander about the house naked often Grin

hollinhurst84 · 09/01/2017 14:12

Balls to that, I'm always cold!
13.5 tog duvet, 2 blankets, full pjs and socks

DaisyQueen · 09/01/2017 14:13

I always sleep in my bra/vest and knickers. I'm terrified in the event of a fire I will end up starkers in the street. DP will sleep naked sometimes but tends not to as dc's sometimes magically end up in bed with us

Putthatonyourneedles · 09/01/2017 14:57

Oh totally starkers. It is even better with fresh sheets.

Crowdblundering · 09/01/2017 14:58

Yeah - always :)

Bumpsadaisie · 09/01/2017 14:59

Definitely. With naice cotton sheets.

Bumpsadaisie · 09/01/2017 15:00

When have period i wear pants obv.

Bluntness100 · 09/01/2017 15:00

Knickers and a vest here, i stopped sleeping naked when I had my daughter.

EverythingEverywhere1234 · 09/01/2017 15:08

Yes! I will add to it though... Naked, with fresh sheets, with freshly shaved/waxed legs. Heaven.

LuxembergerQueen92 · 09/01/2017 15:22

Naked - used to sleep in t-shirt but since hitting the menopause sleep so much better with nothing on and no more waking in the night with a soaked, sweaty t-shirt stuck to me.

downwardfacingdog · 09/01/2017 16:29

I still sleep naked now I have DC. Once they get to an age where they don't want to see us in the buff, they'll stop coming into our room (win-win Grin) I chuck a dressing gown on if I need to get up to them in the night.

StillRabbit · 09/01/2017 17:04

DH and I both sleep naked but have PJs beside the bed to pull on if we are needed by DS (or DD if she is at home) or the doorbell goes while we are lounging on weekend mornings.

Newyear4me · 09/01/2017 17:12

Yep! I always sleep naked. So does DH. It's the best way to be comfy in bed imo.

BarbedBloom · 09/01/2017 17:20

I always sleep naked and have since I was a teenager. I just feel too uncomfortable otherwise.

StarlingMurderation · 09/01/2017 17:44

Always sleep naked. I cannot sleep with the restriction of even pants. Weirdly I can nap on the sofa fully dressed.

SapphireStrange · 09/01/2017 18:04

Naked since my teens. I hate wearing clothes in bed; when you turn over they wrap round your arm/leg .

I don't find it any colder than sleeping in clothes. I have a warm dressing gown by the bed for getting up in the night.

I tried bed socks once as I liked the idea. Just woke myself up in the night taking them off in my sleep. Grin

SnatchedPencil · 09/01/2017 18:17

Of course I sleep naked - I'm an adult!

Seriously, it is so much more comfortable. It's cooler in the summer and, believe it or not, warmer in the winter (the air forms a cushion round you and warms up faster - pyjamas or a nightie dissipate the heat or at least concentrate it in certain areas).

If you've never tried it, give it a go. You can always put something back on if you don't like it.

farfarawayfromhome · 09/01/2017 18:23

Always always sleep naked. Nice pj's and lounge wear for before bed but everything off when in bed.

Try as I might pj's or night wear always goes up my gusset or gets twisted and I get too hot.

StillRabbit · 09/01/2017 19:59

*Aren't you all cold? Do you have the heating on all night?

I only sleep in my birthday suit in the summer. Wintertime I layer up. I'm very comfy in my jimjams*

Not cold, we have a duvet! Heating goes off at 8.30pm and on again at 5.30am so it's not too hot at bedtime and not too cold when getting up.

CaptainHammer · 09/01/2017 20:04

hollin that made me sweat just reading that!
I sleep naked under a 4.5 tog even in winter.

QuinionsRainbow · 09/01/2017 20:24

Year-round birthday-suit since pre-teen years, now worn with a similarly clad DH and either a 4.5 tog duvet (winter) or a sheet and celluar cotton blanket combination (summer).

Minstrelsareyum · 09/01/2017 20:39

No! Grim! I would need to wash the duvet cover and bottom sheets every few days and would freeze as I get very cold in bed.

IonaNE · 09/01/2017 20:59

Never. I hate the touch of skin-on-skin (meaning my arm on my belly etc. I'd also hate to have to get up to go to the loo and be cold or have to put on something then. I wear knickers, long sleeved pjs all year round (2 tops in the winter). Love being warm in bed.

Bloodybridget · 09/01/2017 21:03

Not at this time of year because I'd be too cold, but most of the year I do. Much more comfortable.

MissStein · 09/01/2017 21:29

always, dp the same. ds (5) is the same. He usually goes to the bed with pjs on but kicks them off during the night. Ds usually comes down for snuggles on weekend mornings too. Dont other parents let their young dc see them naked? Ds doesn't care, its not something that even blips on his radar. He just snuggles in for cuddles.
