To ask if you sleep naked?

Been having problems sleeping recently and been scouring the net to look for things to help. One thing suggested was to sleep naked. Apparently there are many reasons it's better for your health, not just a better sex life. Although I've not solved the sleep problems yet, I'm definitely a fan now. I feel more comfy in bed, sweat less and don't get that feeling that I'm on the verge of a uti any more.
Any one else never wear anything in bed?

And would you wear your "night clothes" to the supermarket or invite the neighbours round for drinks (evil Grin)?

Chippednailvarnishing · 08/01/2017 23:01

Lowers voice to a whisper

I'm controversial. I wear pyjamas. To bed.

Chippednailvarnishing · 08/01/2017 23:01

I'm a naked sleeper. Apart from when staying at other people's houses. But because pjs are not usual for me I often forget to pack them!

Littlepleasures · 08/01/2017 23:03

Dc have left home now so maybe that's why it feels more relaxing. DD stayed over the other night and I did wear jamas just in case she came in.

I always felt a bit yuk when a friend of mine brought her kids up to get used to seeing her naked, even when they were teenagers. Bridge too far for me, I'm afraid. Personal space and all that.

Naked or with loose knickers that sounds odd. Can't be doing with pjs in bed even though I'm obsessed with pjs for the evening even if people come over Shock

kissingJustForPractice · 08/01/2017 23:05

I used to until we had children, then I got cold getting up in the night. Now I just feel cold without in the winter and the kids are of an age where they wouldn't want to catch us naked... Plus, obviously, going to bed naked would have us at it like rabbits and we need our sleep now we're old and tired.

MerylPeril · 08/01/2017 23:05

Just knickers for me - otherwise I can't regulate my body temperature esp when DH is there.
I might wear a tshirt in the depths of winter if he is away - but prob just one night of the year if that!

mydietstartsmonday · 08/01/2017 23:06

I am fat with big boobs and sleep naked unless it is really cold. So does hubby. Embrace your wobbly bits I say.

Muppetslikecoco · 08/01/2017 23:06

I'm too afraid of the burning house situation to sleep naked. I wish I could.

Elphame · 08/01/2017 23:07

Always - unless it's really really cold

Notso · 08/01/2017 23:07

Naked is best. Sometimes I fall asleep in PJ's but end up taking them off during the night.
Pants in bed are the worst.

60sname · 08/01/2017 23:08

Nope, too chilly especially when getting up to see to DS at night. Mind you, I kept my long-sleeved top and vest top on to give birth Grin

ChippyDucks · 08/01/2017 23:09

I've only slept in pyjamas a handful of times in the last 18 years. Always have a dressing gown to hand though, if I need to get up and deal with dc during the night. In fact I only wear pyjamas after a shower, whilst I dry my hair, then take them off to get into bed.
My youngest dc asked me tonight why I had jammies on because I sleep naked. As in there's no need to have any at all Grin

51howdidthathappen · 08/01/2017 23:10

Naked. Kids when small used to get in bed with both of us, naked.
They are grown up now, so have probably gotten over it Grin

CookieDoughKid · 08/01/2017 23:12

I have wobbly thighs and a belly and feel knickers in bed are just too restrictive!!

Rowgtfc72 · 08/01/2017 23:12

Mydiet, I hear you! Same here.

Have found sleeping in pjs doesn't make me mysteriously thin overnight Grin

AddictedtoLovely · 08/01/2017 23:12

God yes. I find it more comfy. I cover up if kids have sleepovers but otherwise...

Cakeycakecake · 08/01/2017 23:15

Always naked. Don't care where I am, can't sleep clothed unless it's that time of the month. So then just pants. I'm gonna have to either ban ds from my bed or learn to sleep with a bra and pants though cause he comes in during the night for a cuddle. I don't mind but I don't want him getting ishoos with mummy being too naked around him. Rather have the bed to myself though...

MimsyFluff · 08/01/2017 23:15

Naked unless we have guests or staying away.

Last night the dog gate wasn't closed and Ddog 2 came up and slept between DH and me (on top of duvet) stealing all the blanket off me yet leaving DH covered. The Dpuppy heard me telling her to move (to under the blanket) discovered the gate was open, took his first trip upstairs and went and woke the kids up at 5AM! he also needed carrying downstairs 25kg at 5AM on a Sunday

elQuintoConyo · 08/01/2017 23:15

Aren't you all cold? Do you have the heating on all night?

I only sleep in my birthday suit in the summer. Wintertime I layer up. I'm very comfy in my jimjams.

user1478860582 · 08/01/2017 23:17

Does this confession bar us naked sleepers from the PJs in supermarkets threads?!

SpookyPotato · 08/01/2017 23:17

I'm always surprised how many people sleep naked on here, I've never known anyone do it! I'm in awe of your freedom Grin I love my pyjamas and like feeling covered and contained, I like that DP feels the same too. Also like having nice pjs!

Boolovessulley · 08/01/2017 23:18

Naked unless freezing.

AtSea1979 · 08/01/2017 23:18

Knickers, socks, pjs and fleece jumper. I get cold easily!
