To ask if you sleep naked?

Been having problems sleeping recently and been scouring the net to look for things to help. One thing suggested was to sleep naked. Apparently there are many reasons it's better for your health, not just a better sex life. Although I've not solved the sleep problems yet, I'm definitely a fan now. I feel more comfy in bed, sweat less and don't get that feeling that I'm on the verge of a uti any more.
Any one else never wear anything in bed?

don't wear a thing in bed...ever!! can't even wear jewelery including earrings

user1471496670 · 10/01/2017 21:35

I always sleep nude unless DP is working away then it's knickers and vest.

NicknameUsed · 10/01/2017 21:38

Who wears jewellery in bed even? I keep my wedding ring on, but that's it.

BubbleWrapQueen · 10/01/2017 21:43

I wear plain stud earrings and a ring from DP on 24/7 regardless of what I wear in bed

EverythingEverywhere1234 · 11/01/2017 12:11

I leave all my jewellery on so;
Five rings across both hands
Three studs in one ear and one in the other
A necklace

QuinionsRainbow · 11/01/2017 13:06

DH and I keep our wedding rings on in bed, but no watches or other jewellery - I've got necklace and bracelets, but DH would find it difficult to style his sleep attire with cufflinks!

Orangebird69 · 11/01/2017 13:08

I always did. But since ds (15mo), we cosleep so I wear a soft nursing bra otherwise he'll be attached to me all bloody night.

bananafish81 · 12/01/2017 01:37

Winter and it's long sleeved top and pyjama bottoms with knickers and socks

Hot summer it's knickers and a vest top

Have tried sleeping without knickers before and loathed it. Tried a nightie without knickers and ended up in the middle of the night whipping a pair out of the drawer. Don't even like pyjamas on without knickers underneath!

Klaphat · 12/01/2017 03:12

Naked always. Started when I finally got sick enough of twisting T-shirts and pyjama bottoms to just ditch them at last. That was about a year ago probably.

Edwardobolando · 12/01/2017 09:26

9 times out of 10 I wear nothing to bed. It's the most comfortable! My Fiance is more inclined to wear his boxers though!

GladAllOver · 12/01/2017 12:10

Always have slept naked from childhood. Can't imagine getting dressed up to go to bed.

MuseumOfCurry · 12/01/2017 12:12

Absolutely not! I often wear 2x pairs of leggings and 2x jumpers to bed in winter.

QuinionsRainbow · 12/01/2017 16:38

GladAllOver "Always have slept naked from childhood."

Was that your decision or someone else's?

Woody67 · 12/01/2017 16:45

I never wear anything to bed. I put pjs or a onesie on after my shower then take them off to go to bed. Wearing clothes in bed feels weird!

PaintingOwls · 12/01/2017 16:47

I do in the spring and summer and late autumn but currently I need a t shirt otherwise my shoulders freeze.

susurration · 12/01/2017 17:59

Yes almost all the time. If its very cold I wear a huuuge XXXL tshirt. Knickers only during AF and if we're in someone elses house/hotel. Sure they don't want my nether bits on their bedding.

joystir59 · 12/01/2017 19:17

except when I feel very cold when going to bed, when I will wear pjs. I love sleeping naked

TytoAlba · 12/01/2017 20:00

I've always slept naked since my early teens and now think I'll never wear pjs or anything else in bed ever again.

GladAllOver · 12/01/2017 20:09

Was that your decision or someone else's?
I can't remember, it has always been natural to dry off from the bath or shower and straight into bed.
Should I have been told to put clothes on?

WellieWanger · 12/01/2017 20:10

Yes. Love pyjamas for lounging but hate them rubbing against the duvet. Way too restrictive. Have converted DH too. Comfier, you feel more free and good for intimacy. If its particulary cold i have an oversized cotton nightshirt which isn't too restrictive. DD is 4 and sees me naked when she comes in in the morning. She's not phased and will occasionally say 'mummy doesn't wear pyjamas' but doesn't seem embarrassed by it. Although am aware that there will come a time soon that I will have to wear something if she needs me in the night and she will have to learn to knock if she doesn't want to see anything.

tigerdog · 12/01/2017 20:19

I like to sleep in pyjamas. Soft jersey loose fitting trousers and a vest top are perfect. Never ever wearing knickers or a bra though - freedom for the boobs and bits are essential! I wear a nightie in the summer. Not a fan of sleeping naked really, only tend to be naked if I fall asleep after sex. Even then I'll go hunting for something to wear if I wake up in the night.

Verbena37 · 12/01/2017 22:27

In the summer, either totally naked or just knickers/knickers and vest top.
In winter, jersey PJs with tshirt top, sometimes long sleeves and bed socks with PJs tucked in if it's butt cold....and a hot water bottle and sometimes a Fleece to warm me up.

My body thermostat is rubbish.....I'm either boiling or freezing....never just right.

LadyLapsang · 12/01/2017 23:40

A spritz of scent and keep my wedding and engagement rings on - that's it. Often window open too.

llangennith · 12/01/2017 23:48

Usually naked and under an oversized duvet. I was given some silk pillowcases for Christmas and they help me sleep better. And my hair doesn't get so messed upSmile

ChristmasEvePJs · 12/01/2017 23:57

Always naked with dressing gown to hand for loo run during the night now the DC's are older!
