To ask you for ideas on how to tell my DH I'm pregnant on Christmas Day?

This is clearly not an AIBU but I'm shamelessly posting because of all the traffic and because I'm excited!!

I found out two days ago that I'm pregnant and I want to find a way to tell DH on Christmas Day.

I had thought about gift wrapping a pregnancy test but now that just seems boring?

Then I thought of having a customised bauble made with the words "I'm pregnant" engraved on it for him to unwrap.

Then I thought about wearing some kind of t-shirt/jumper with a message on it to indicate I'm pregnant and see how long it takes DH to notice it...

I just don't know.

Are there any creative people out there with some good suggestions? Or maybe someone who has done it themselves and would like to share?

So even if you did leave a bauble on the tree he sounds like he wouldn't notice Xmas Grin

mamushka - well they can't be any worse can they? DS is now 2yr 9m and finally understands the concept of "sleeping through" and manages it a few times a week Grin

xmas - he's not the most observant man Smile After I had told him I presented him with the pregnancy tests just to make it really sink in Smile

He said he's reluctant to get too excited due to us having had the miscarriage earlier this year but at least he's happy Xmas Smile

I found out I was pregnant about this time last year and told DH right away. I just asked him what he would have thought if I'd kept it as a Christmas Day surprise and he said he'd have really liked that.

Congratulations and may you not vomit too much! Grin

lol create a ginger bread house with a small baby related item inside like a dolls crib then just watch the look of confusion when his discovers it

Men don't really care about all the details and don't feel the emotions that women often ascribe to pregnancy.

Sexist bullshit.
