To wonder why people dislike Tess Daly so much?

I don't particularly like her. She's a bit try hard. But she's a lot better than Bruce Forsyth who I had to fast forward through.

I really don't understand why some people have such an intense dislike of her.

One of the reasons Claudia's quickstep was so lovely to watch the other evening was the total lack of bullshit. It was "just" dancing, done beautifully with lovely clothes and hair.

I do think the show needs a bit of a revamp TBH.

I think it needs to go back to basics.
Less fannying about
Less frills
Just dancing and reasonable critique of it by knowledgeable judges.
Piss off with the booing shit
And fuck off with the nonsensical standing ovations

I would second that hobnobs. It needs tidying up a bit. Plus just do the results straight away, or an hour later maybe. Recording the results and passing it off as the next day is just weird. It's always leaked on Digital Spy so I don't even watch the results show anyway.

"Proper" dancing - lovely!

Peaches, I'd completely agree about Simon cowell and Louis Walsh. Watched the final on Sunday - the first show I've watched in years and couldn't believe how tired and samey it all was. Time for a total change or a few years rest.

It makes me laugh when they drag in the small children, particularly when they aren't even the sleb's own kids. It's a sure sign that they know they're in danger of going out.
