WIBU to wake up my kitten because he kept me up all night? *pics*

2:30am he comes purring into my face, nibbling at my chin. Wanted to play but I managed to convince him (by stroking him) to go back to sleep. Then he tried again at 3:30 so I got up and played for a while, before giving him a little bit of chicken and headed back for bed. Forget it. So I got up properly at 4:30am and have felt like a zombie all day.

He, however, has been crashed out for hours this afternoon looking all cute So should I go up and poke him awake as an act of revenge? 😏 do not be fooled by his photos where he tries to look angelic

Yes he does co-sleep with me (and my partner). He's been pretty good up until last night, waking up when my partner gets up for work around 6am.

Oh god why didn't I think of the chicken-reward rod for my own back I've instigated?! Was so tired I'd have done anything. Ironically I was a much stricter mother to my own kids, some 20+ years ago. Also to dogs I've had, always been about discipline and then reward. But this little boy has me all soft and compliant 😳😭

Sparklingcat co sleeps with us. But any attention seeking has to be annoyed and not rewarded with food or fuss however tempted. Remain firm.
