WIBU to wake up my kitten because he kept me up all night? *pics*

2:30am he comes purring into my face, nibbling at my chin. Wanted to play but I managed to convince him (by stroking him) to go back to sleep. Then he tried again at 3:30 so I got up and played for a while, before giving him a little bit of chicken and headed back for bed. Forget it. So I got up properly at 4:30am and have felt like a zombie all day.

He, however, has been crashed out for hours this afternoon looking all cute So should I go up and poke him awake as an act of revenge? 😏 do not be fooled by his photos where he tries to look angelic

I agree about the Ragdoll being more like dogs...that's what attracted me to them as I've never seen the point in having an aloof cat...would be like having a moody teenager at home again 🙄

Here he is! This cat has just "typed" on the laptop for 5 minutes. He always watches DH do it in fascination and must think it's a form of claw-sharpening!
He nips me to get my phone to play the cat games on it.

Thing is OP, you need to understand that dogs have owners and cats have staff.

You should be grateful that gorgeous puddy cat wakes you up, that is a small price to pay for sharing his new home.

Mine, wakes me up 1 hour before the alarm every day so she can snuggle against me and rests her furry chin on the top of my arm.

Aww he is gorgeous! I love that he has you wrapped around his little finger/claw already. I bought my cat a Catit Senses track thing that she is dutifully ignoring (it's a light-up ball that can be pushed around a semi-enclosed track) so she has more things to play with at night. She's just taken to stealing my bed instead.

Mind you, she even steals my bed when I'm in the middle of making it and refuses to move so I don't know what I expected really.

Such gorgeous cats on here! This thread has really cheered me up after a difficult day. I'd love to have a cat when I'm more settled.

My 2 have to go in their own bedroom at night. We tried letting them roam but got no sleep!
Old boy would decide to try and climb out of the bedroom window at 3am and kitten just bats your eyelids until you play.They they would both start charging up and down the stairs.
They are both happy in the room together at night as long as there's biscuits and in the morning if I'm not working they come for a cuddle in bed.
This is the little face who licks my eyelashes at 2am given the chance.

My kitten is ready to come home in January - I'm going to be posting kitten maximum photos!

I'm currently sharing my bedroom with these two, playtime started at 7am this morning and I can still hear what sounds like thunder upstairs!

It was me Rufus! Look at his little kitten face . They grow into magnificent beasts! He is so gorgeous. I really, really want a Maine Coon.

He's a monster, HemanOrSheRa! He weighs 8kg and is still growing. Magnificent tail, and very sweet natured, although he hates being brushed, and his teeth/claws are a bit lethal then. Also, he can only go outside wearing a gps collar because he gets lost easily (he's not very bright). But I wouldn't be without him.

Ah my cat bastard is a Maine Coon. He's only 9 months now, and about 2-3kg at his last weigh-in. I can't imagine him getting to 8kg!
