WIBU to wake up my kitten because he kept me up all night? *pics*

2:30am he comes purring into my face, nibbling at my chin. Wanted to play but I managed to convince him (by stroking him) to go back to sleep. Then he tried again at 3:30 so I got up and played for a while, before giving him a little bit of chicken and headed back for bed. Forget it. So I got up properly at 4:30am and have felt like a zombie all day.

He, however, has been crashed out for hours this afternoon looking all cute So should I go up and poke him awake as an act of revenge? 😏 do not be fooled by his photos where he tries to look angelic

Definitely wake him up and take more photos! If you scoop him up he'll be all snuggly and warm. And then send him to me as you clearly aren't a suitable match . What is wrong with a 3am wake up call?!

The moment I realised DP (now DH) was the one for me..... I saw him bent over our cat one afternoon when she was asleep in her cat hammock. He was poking her gently in the stomach and saying softly 'Meow....... Meow'. When I asked him wtf he was doing he said quite seriously;'Well, she kept us up last night doing that'.

Beautiful kitty! FYI - my DD was sleeping through the night at 8 weeks old but I was still awake half of the night petting the cat to sleep and then getting up at 3am to let her out. This lasted too many years. Even DS was a good sleeper and the new puppy. Cat took 10 years to sleep through the night!

YANBU. Wake him up. My kitten does this too. Im pregnant and she is obsessed with me, I think it must be the hormones. She tries to sleep on my pillow wrapped around my head, kneading my hair. It's a bit hard to sleep like that! She also has a habit of jumping on me roughly 15 minutes before my alarm goes off. I feel cheated out of that last bit of sleep every day!

He just woke up. For dinner 😏 I'm going to run him ragged this evening in the hopes he'll be tired later some hope. I am doomed

Aw Bingo that's lovely. Very similar here with DP. He didn't really like cats as pets. He made very sure to get my two onside when I met him . When I acquired a(nother) cat through work last year, after a little grump - 'Oh so we have another cat, do we?' He completely fell in love with the little beast!

My friends cat meows and scratches at the bedroom door to be let in every night. When we got our cat we shut the bedroom door from day 1 so he doesn't disturb us. He now waits patiently outside our door when we wake up. That's the only considerate thing he does though
