WIBU to wake up my kitten because he kept me up all night? *pics*

2:30am he comes purring into my face, nibbling at my chin. Wanted to play but I managed to convince him (by stroking him) to go back to sleep. Then he tried again at 3:30 so I got up and played for a while, before giving him a little bit of chicken and headed back for bed. Forget it. So I got up properly at 4:30am and have felt like a zombie all day.

He, however, has been crashed out for hours this afternoon looking all cute So should I go up and poke him awake as an act of revenge? 😏 do not be fooled by his photos where he tries to look angelic

This is our cat bastard when he was about 3 months. He regularly has his mad half hour just exactly when we're getting ready for bed.

my youngest little shitbag is currently having a mad half an hour.. i gave him the box from my M&S advent calendar and made a tunnel out of it.. he keeps hiding in there and launching himself in and out of there like a rocket.

The older cat (she whom has a perfect stink eye) is watching him with a bemused expression, but every now and again when he rockets past her, she tried to pounce on him, but she's not fast enough!

This is Bub. Bub is very "aggressively" affectionate (rubbing his face in mine), usually at about 3am..... Bub no longer sleeps in my room

My boy is just back from the vets. He was neutered today, but you'd never know it as he's full of his usual mischief and starving! Bought him that little Christmas pud toy from the vet definitely a crazy cat woman now

the boys definitely cope better than the girls.. i was told to keep BatCat calm for 24hrs after he was done.. fat chance! lol

Cat threads are one of my favourite things about MN. People who don't like cats leave us well alone to indulge ourselves in our fur babies (yep, I only typed that for a joke). You can't beat a cat thread (with accompanying ridiculous photos of over indulged, spoilt moggies) to lift my mood. I'd take a photo of fluffballmookins If I could, but she is currently snoring on my lap and I think she smells of poo. Enough said.

OP, are you an ex-dog-owner by any chance? I ask because you don't seem to have quite adjusted to the realities of living with a cat. As far as your cat's concerned, you're staff, and your working hours are as determined by said cat. You're on duty any time of the day or night he wants you.

That's why I'm a dog person.

Well I've had cats all my life and we have two Persian brothers, but these Ragdolls are something else completely! We have one who looks very similar to Happens' chocolate-point. He's almost 6 months now. I've been up at 5am with him since early September. People say, "Oh shut him in the lounge", but he will HOWL and the kids have school and DH work.
He "helps" with everything - literally follows me from room to room. Flies army me when I walk through the front door. More like a dog really. He's currently asleep in the top of the Xmas tree with the Persians staring in disbelief. I think Ragdolls are very "different" cats - but soooo cute!

MorningtonCrescent yes I am!!! Dog person through and through. Never liked cats, but have fallen in love with the Ragdoll breed in general and this little boy in particular. What gave me away?! 🙄😂
