I used to live in an ancient street...in one of the UK's walled cities. My house had a balcony and Japanese tourists loved photographing me sitting on my balcony having coffee.

OMG, that has triggered flashbacks to being photographed by Japanese tourists at the weekends, hung over & hunched over a bowl of cornflakes in my PJs when we lived in a similar house in the 80s. Tourist cities, they're not "all that" for real life residents.

There's one particular street in London that literally has a constant queue of people taking pictures for Instagram...

Somewhere in the the USA are a bus load of tourists with pictures of me hanging out the washing.
