Fuming, raging, heartbroken....

It seems like this is used about everything now.

AIBU to wonder why nobody is ever just a bit miffed or slightly put out anymore?

And what happens to the fuming, heartbroken ragers who get so angry about an innocuous comment from a teacher or a sideways glance on public transport when something really bad happens? Do their heads actually explode?!

Thank you but I am fine it was actually during the week my DH is with me today.But it was a horrid shock to come back after a crap day at work.Just thought I would describe my feelings as opposed to getting over emotional.

I HATE that saying

I'm not a massive one for hyperbole, but I must confess a secret liking of the phrase 'boil my piss'. It's so descriptive and evocative.

Actually, events today, which I'll not get into, really have left me not being able to even look at, let alone speak to my DH because I am so, so very angry with him.

And Lolly - I'm really sorry to hear about your week - just because we are on a thread downplaying dramatic statements, don't underestimate the impact something like that can have on you, if not now, it can hit you suddenly down the line.
