Though sometimes I wish I had stopped at one (I have two). Then feel guilty because it's like I've wished my youngest wasn't born. But I love them both so much.

I adore my DS but if I were to have my time again I probably wouldn't have children as I would love to experience a life of freedom and money and see what adventures that would allow me to have.

I think being child free must have lots of advantages just like having children does.

It would be great if we were able to experience both to see which we preferred

My DD is not 2 yet but I would say absolutely yes so far! It's tiring, stressful and anxiety inducing but the joy and love I've felt is worth all of that and more!

absolutley and my youngest has disabillities and hard work but i would dom it all again in a heartbeat.

I've found that it gets easier as they get older. When they were 3 and 1 it was grindingly mundane, with no freedom. As they started to be able to do things for themselves, it improved. I remember the sense of relief I felt when I was able to go to the shop or to the gym for an hour without thinking about whether DH would be home to watch them - little things like that.

Yes. Had them fairly late (first at 33) and spent 18-31 being a spoilt hedonistic prattish traveller party girl so don't feel I missed anything.

I'd still have had children. In an ideal world I'd have had them later and probably not so close together, though.

Not that I don't adore both kids equally and I couldn't tell you which one I'd rather was the only one. But two is hard. We are massively stretched on space and funds.

For sure, they are 12 and 10-doesn't mean I don't look forward to having time and money again though

I honestly do not know. I love ds but he's such hard work, I feel like I haven't had 5 minutes to myself in 4 1/2 years. I don't really enjoy holidays or days out anymore, have only been out twice on my own since ds was born so I find it really hard.

I think if I had family to help, and dp worked shorter hours so I wasn't doing it all myself I would but not in these circumstances because I'm constantly knackered.

He's only 2 and really hard work but love it and couldn't imagine life without him.

I've been a parent since I was 22 and I can't imagine it any other way. I do sometime wish my oldest two had been born under better circumstances (one night stand and abusive marriage) but I love them and they bring my life so much meaning and joy. Having dc3 with a loving, involved husband was wonderful and made me a bit sad for the start the eldest two had but they are all equally loved and secure now so it all worked out.

DD RD is 3y8m and my answer is....probably. I was nearly 40 having her and every stage gets easier with more freedom, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the freedom to come and go as I please.

Definitely. We had fertility issues and for a long time we didn't think we could have kids. It was a long and painful journey. DD is now 3 1/2. I don't know if we'll have any more but she's brilliant and was worth the wait

Yes but differently. DD1 I had when 22 and really I wasn't ready and certainly didn't have the 'right' man. DD2 at 34 when married to the man I met at 28.
I think if I'd met DH at 28 and didn't have DD1... We would have married earlier and had 3 closer together.

But you know then I wouldn't have a 3 day old DGS at 39 - which, I still worry so much about DD1 and the challenges she has facing her. But he is too damned cute and I love him to bits
