To think mumsnet should be opening supporting Hillary

There is a real chance that trump could get in now. Hillary clearly has fab policy's for paid maternity leave, equal pay, and a rock solid record in fighting for women's equality. See the site shewinswewin.org/record-of-achievement/

Has MN publicly endorsed her? With millions of users across the world many will be in the US.

Nope. It's a parenting web site based in the UK who will not wish to alienate huge chunks of the population wherever MN is read.

Endorsing Hillary also means endorsing her dishonesties on a global scale.

I also don't think it's appropriate to support someone for president who is being investigated by the FBI. I find it baffling that this person wouldn't be allowed to work in a school yet she can become president?

I think she should step down and allow someone else to take her place.

Just my opinion though, and as I'm not American my opinion doesn't matter at all.

Dont be fooled by Hillary and her fake feminist credentials - she is way more dangerous than Trump and would have the world at war in the blink of an eye.
As for what happens to those who have a run in with the Clintons....hmm let's not go there.
Anyway it would be grossly inappropriate for a British parenting website to involve themselves with US politics.

She may be the safer pair of hands in this election, but that doesn't mean she's safe.

Not only is it inappropriate for them to officially support any one political side, the majority of this site UK-based, so it wouldn't even make much sense to do so.

I think that judging a presidential candidate on just their feminist principles shows a somewhat narrow viewpoint. There is so much more at stake than just this. Hmm

Nah MN can't officially support her.

What you can do is start a thread... something like "AIBU to ask you all to declare your support for Hillary" ... expect you'd get a lot of "signatures".

Doubt many people in the US will care what a bunch of MNers think though (especially those who are Trump supporters)

Its a UK parenting forum not a political forum.

Hilary isnt squeaky clean, there is much more to her than supporting womens rights.

She is only the 'better choice' due to who she is up against.

God help America after the elections, neither of them is a prize catch.

And Trump will never do the world a favour and slope off and shut up no matter what the result!

Why would a UK based web forum endorse a candidate in a US election? Even if they did, would it make a single iota of difference? I think you are massively over estimating the info of mumsnet over world politics.

Would it have changed your vote if a niche US website you'd never heard of endorsed Cameron at the last election?

Hilary's clearly the best of the two but do you think anyone'll be skipping to the polls to happily cast their Clinton vote?

YABU. MN should be politically neutral. That's how we're able to discuss things from all sides without feeling we must somehow "toe the line".
