Hmm MN doesn't like links with _2016 at the end. Oh well. Here's the first few parags from it...
"As of October 30, 71 of the nation's 100 largest newspapers by paid circulation have made endorsements. Of these, 56 have endorsed Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, three endorsed Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, nine gave no endorsement, two weighed in specifically against Republican candidate Donald Trump, and one endorsed Donald Trump.
As of October 31, Trump has received endorsements from only eight daily newspapers thus far. Such a small number of endorsements for a major-party candidate is unprecedented in American history.
Clinton won support from not only traditionally Democratic-leaning newspapers, but also traditionally non-political and conservative newspapers, including those which had "either never before supported a Democrat or had not in many decades ... or had never endorsed any presidential candidate, like USA Today."
