I really don't see the issue - if he wants to be female then let him. He can fully transition to be a woman and have his penis removed - issue solved all round I would say. That would seriously teach him.

There's a sad but interesting article on the blog 4th Wave Now called "Shrinking to Survive" by a detransitioned transman writing about living inside the bubble of queer youth culture. The beliefs she followed seem so bizarre yet were universally accepted within her circle. DFAB privilege held that born women had lifelong privilege over transwomen. Transmen were held to have, and to have always had, male privilege. Transwomen, therefore, were the most oppressed always and regardless of their behaviour. Their interests must always come first.

Incidents of rape or violence were ignored or reframed, with victims told to check their privilege. Anyone who reported predatory behaviour by transwomen was ruthlessly ostracized. She describes how if your relationship with a transwoman is defined as equal and lesbian it takes considerable time to realise that what you're experiencing is good old-fashioned male violence, violence that your whole circle denies is even possible.

Body searches should have to be done by someone who is the same physical (external) sex as the person who is being searched. This is an area where it's irrelevant which gender the person identifies as.

Yet another example of biological males, including those convicted of and charged with rape and violence against women, to gain free access to vulnerable and unprotected women.

It's astonishing how readily the prospect of being incarcerated as a sex offender in a male prison makes these men realise that they suddenly feel like women. Almost as if they are completely and utterly taking the piss out of a system falling over itself to put the delicate feelings of biological men with criminal convictions for rape and assault ahead of the safety of women.

Was in tears this morning watching suffragette. To think it has come to this.

I know someone who is somewhere in the process of MTF transgender reassignment (admittedly have not seen her in some years as lost touch/moved area, but we are still FB friends and she communicates lots of news about her transition via FB).

As a man, this person was a strapping six footer and then some, and participated in lots of sports. Obviously going to be physically stronger than most women whatever gender and sex he/she is.

If this person was a violent sex offender convicted of rape as a man, even as a woman she is going to present a threat to weaker vulnerable women in a prison environment.

Apologies if I have not used correct language. People are people as far as I'm concerned. I don't care. But it just seems a little too convenient for sex offenders with penises to try to join in with 'I identify as a woman' in an attempt to be imprisoned with women, who are mostly vulnerable and in prison for often seemingly minor crimes.

People with penises commit the vast majority of crime and a disproportionate amount of violent crime. I'm not saying that people with vaginas do not commit violent crime and I'm sure that there are people with vaginas that have raped people with penises when you use the definition of forcibly insertion of objects but the vast majority of offences will have used a human penis, so that is how people have to be segregated.

It has always been the norm that changing rooms, toilets and prisons are segregated to male or female and it seems that the right now the rights of a small percentage are being prioritised over half the population that have often been treated as second priority.

He doesn't fucking "decide" he's a woman. He realizes he is one and transitions. And if he's faking it to try and get around justice, he's scum.

Unless you're trans and particularly sensitive to anything and everything on this topic, please skip to this kind of shit earlier on in future so we can stop taking you seriously and save everyone a lot of time.
