QueenArse that's a great link you shared upthread. Your friend sounds really sane and honest, it's good to read their experience, and see that transwomen can go through that whole trans TRA factory and still question it and come out the other side. Interesting that they now identify (he now identifies...?) as a gender non-conforming man. Like I say, sane and honest.
And worth a read for you, Hey, if you want to understand more - or would you join the bigots in calling this person "truscum" and saying that they too are transphobic, despite their lived experience of being a transwoman?
It always amazes me when I see blogs by gender-critical TW, with links to blogs by other gender-critical TW, all the blogs liked and shared by lots of people, how competely unrepresented their voice is in today's political climate. There seem to be so many of them - and yet they, like gender-critical feminists, are being shut down and silenced by the dominant TRA group.
And it's the dominant TRA group who are setting the agenda on trans issues even though there are clearly significant numbers of trans people who don't think like them at all, don't want the same things at all.
Just really stupefying how one group can take control like this and contaminate the discourse, and set up a dynamic where they make it look like everybody who disagrees with them is the enemy of progress and liberalism, while actually they are the ones who are the enemies of freedom and equality.
