To ask what wedding mistakes you made....

With the kitchen and bathroom threads it made me think of the the things people wouldn't do if they got married again (or things they would do if they had the chance again)......

I had a wedding on a sunday, was supposed to save money as the venue was hideously expensive on a saturday but it all fizzled out gradually over the evening and everyone had gone, or gone to bed, by 11.

Also we picked a crap photographer, wish I'd spent more on that but we were trying to do things as cheap as possible and all the decent ones were around 2k.

Also I went for an exclusive use venue and couldn't fill all the rooms.

Apart from that it was all fab!

This is what we did. My SIL offered to arrange and pay for our photographer. Turns out the woman was a complete amateur. I don't have a single photo that I like :(

Not losing weight - I always had a "well DH loves me as I am attitude" so didn't lose weight prior to the wedding - It just left me with a load of wedding and honeymoon pictures that I never want to look at. Since the wedding I lost 5 stone, so I guess I wish I had known that I could do it, and how much better I would have felt by doing it....
