I have a 15 day old who had an overnight hospital stay last week for poor feeding and weight loss,he has really improved since. However his toddler sister came home with a tummy bug Friday and today newborn ds has not fed since 8.30am. He vomited badly at 9am, again at 11.30 and has rejected all feeds no matter how much we tried. Syringe fed him at 6pm and he projectiled it all back up. He also has a temp of 35.3 and barely woken all day.

I don't know what to do :(

Please take straight in, poor thing Flowers

Laineymc7 · 16/10/2016 20:21

A&E if baby is dehydrated and sleepy with being sick. Go straight there. Good luck. Hope your baby is ok. It's horrible when they are ill.

Specialapplek · 16/10/2016 20:22

Please go to A&E now!

Ifounddory · 16/10/2016 20:23

Hope you went to a&e and your baby is ok

booellesmum · 16/10/2016 20:25

A&E.
If you phoned 111 they would tell you to do that anyway.
Hope all is ok.

breakfastbap · 16/10/2016 20:25

Hope he's ok OP 💛

arwenearlythereyet · 16/10/2016 20:28

KitKat1985 · 16/10/2016 20:29

999 xx

Isitjustmeorisiteveryoneelse · 16/10/2016 20:36

A&E. 111 might call you an ambulance but only after the call has progressed through the nurse/triage stage and on to a doctor on call. So go now and take no BS from anyone....best wishes

Starlight2345 · 16/10/2016 20:37

Striaght to A and E....Too tiny to cope with dehydration.

McBassyPants · 16/10/2016 20:39

A+E hun

user1471531273 · 16/10/2016 20:39

999! You need an ambulance I'd say.

user1471531273 · 16/10/2016 20:39

Hope baby is ok x

pensivepolly · 16/10/2016 20:44

A&E. Hope you have already been and your baby has been seen. Wishing you the best.

DesignedForLife · 16/10/2016 20:46

Drowsy & low temperature & vomiting - 999 and ask for an ambulance

Hope he's ok

harderandharder2breathe · 16/10/2016 20:47

Hope he's okay Flowers

He's so tiny and has symptoms that can escalate extremely quickly. I can't imagine any HCP would think you were overreacting for a 15 day old baby with vomiting, not feeding and drowsiness

DailyFailFuckwits · 16/10/2016 20:47

A&E. hope he gets better soon Flowers

GlitteryFluff · 16/10/2016 20:48

Hope everything is ok OP Flowers

Lifeisshort123 · 16/10/2016 20:49

A&E he's a newborn and weight loss at that age is awful.
