Hi guys ,

I've been wanting the Selfridges advent calendars(£95) since they started doing them but could never part with the money . This year, I'm seriously considering buying it or the Charlotte Tilbury one (£150). It will be out in October and usually sells out quick and then I'll need to get it on Amazon for extortionate prices - so, I need to decide pretty quick if I should put money aside for one of them.

Has anyone bought either previously? Are they worth the money? Would you aplurge and treat yourself for Christmas?

Get it bought before they sell out!! I've tried to get one every year but by the time I remember they've sold out. DP bought me the Yankee Candle one instead

If you type in Beauty Advent Calenders into Google, they bring up different ones.

The bath bombs ones are already available.

I'm also getting my Granddaughter a Christmas toy one from ELC, the figures will go with her new Dolls House, which she'll get on Christmas Day.

Noooooo why did I look at this thread - I so want a Liberty calendar now or any fancy product really. Having blown £75 in Mac today when I only went in for some more mascara I'm such a sucker for any beauty things. Think I may have to e-mail the Liberty link to my husband and drop hints.

I've only seen kids stationery but there must be an adult one out there? Stationery is so popular. Google in a month, might have more choice

DH got me the Selfridges one two years ago but I don't use half of it tbh. A mixture of not the right colour/brand etc.

Should have said it was also full of a lot of mini fragrances that year. I am Chanel /Jo Malone loyal!

I've heard good things from someone in the industry (she is famously high on integrity & un-bribe-able) about the Body Shop calendar.

I dithered last year about which one to buy and ended up with none. This year I'm having a Liberty one.
