Hillary Clinton Medical Issue at 9/11 memorial

To think that overheating does not mean she is in anyway unhealthy or unfit. New York can be very warm this time of year and it's only early September.

So many on Twitter questioning her health and whether that makes her good enough to be president. Tbh I would choose a brain dead Clinton over trump anyday. Good she's expected to be president not an Olympic athlete.

But we're not just anyone, that;s my point. I've been ill and thank god recovered. But this woman is ill, no doubt about it. Yes, JFK had Addisons and all sorts but why is it an advance if we hide ill health? That's my beef.

Ps TheMagic I am hugely sorry about your kidney stone, it must be hell on earth. I live in fear of them as I have hypoparathyroidism and am at risk. Not for the feint hearted am sure.

It isn't an advance. It's crap to hide ill health. But we can't know for certain that Clinton is. Yes she's told tons of lies, but that doesn't mean her team are conclusively lying about this. We don't know.

A) WE have decided we know for sure that she has a long term health condition.
B) WE have decided that Hilary and her team have lied about this
C) WE have decided that her long term health condition means she is unfit to be Presidential candidate
D) WE are then angry at HER because she should have told us the truth and not lied to us.

So she is being blamed for something that we cannot know is the case.

Her past lies show she has a history of lying. They don't show that she is lying in this case. That's my beef Grin

This isn't (for me at least) about her as person. I think she's pretty goddamn awful personally, (but sadly she is the lesser of two evils in this contest) but about whether her health precludes her from running. At this point, there is no compelling evidence I can see that stops her.

Bernie would be great. I really think the public are miffed at how he 'lost'. Trump is a hideous man who must be stopped but this mess that is Hillary is not helping. That aside, the woman looks very, very ill and I wouldn;t wish that on anyone.

I agree she looks really poorly at the moment. She probably has no recovery time on the campaign trail for any illness she does get, so it must be a nightmare to keep her immunity up.

Bernie would be fabulous, but when someone as hard right as Trump is so popular, I don't think someone as left as Saunders would have taken votes from people who thought "anyone but Trump" IYKWIM. Not sure what would have happened then.

I'd quite like to see what actually happened if Trump got in, but only if I lived in a parallel universe!

It's that 'parallel universe; that scares me :-( I think Hillary is doing so poorly precisely because she is so ill that Trump is stealing a march. And I genuinely believe she is just run down. That woman has all the hall marks of a very ill person. And if she is proven to have a serious illness, it begs the question, why, at any cost, did the backers who clearly knew this, not care? Who really runs the USA? Is the POTUS merely a figurehead? I think MatkeItStopNeville will tell us though as she knows Hils Grin

You do know it's an ultra conservative political advocacy group that among other things opposes abortion and governmental control of healthcare.

It also advocates beliefs such as 'being gay reduces lifespan' and that there are links between autism and vaccinations.

Do you believe all their crap then? Or just their lies about Hillary's health?

Must say, HC looks pretty good to me for 68 - she has a healthy, happy glow most of the time. Yes she looked a little ashen when she fainted but then so would most people under those conditions. The election campaign must by physically and mentally gruelling - even for a person 20yrs younger. I've also wondered about the age of candidates- I think Bernie is a great candidate but he is very old!

She had a serious illness several years ago. Since then she has carried out a high profile, difficult job with no doubt long hours. Obama saw no need to ask her to step down from the role so presumably no one was that concerned about her ability to function during this period.

These conspiracy theories are put about by the right wing who hate the Clintons. I suspect they are perpetuated by some sore losers in the Bernie Saunders camp as well. Why hasn't Trump released full medical records of it is so important?
