Nope, I offended total randoms.

I live up a private shared drive way on a new build housing estate. So I do get people want to nosey the houses.

I had my side door open which is facing onto my driveway that comes onto the private driveway, so obviously totally private property.

The door was open and I was putting the recycling out. I dropped it and a wine bottle and two coke tins fell out at which point I went "fucking pissflaps" as you do.

Only to see two mildly horrified ladies holding brochures and retreating with cats bum mouths.

It was the synchronised cats bumming that pissed me off.

And they were brochures for our housing estates competitors ....

Maybe they thought you were actually calling them the phrase as a name? yanbu private property, good way to put off leaflet brandishing visitors though. I might try it.
