It cant be serious.

A tragic shitbag idea from a tragic shitbag man for other tragic shitbag men.

fastdaytears · 03/08/2016 20:37

I clicked hoping this was a coffee and blow dry. I would love that. A latte and nice bouncy hair.

Would it be sex discrimination if a man were refused a job there?

WeMustSurelyBeLearning · 03/08/2016 20:56

Yes, I was being sarcastic Lass! Although there are plenty of so called feminists who claim that sex work is empowering

As to whether this will be available for women, does anything think women would be interested in this? The thought of it is enough to make me cross my legs. I'd much rather have the blow dry mentioned above tbh!

acasualobserver · 03/08/2016 20:59

£50?! Most men I know would probably opt for a latte followed by a wank in the bogs at Costa.

ATrumpIsAFartCalledDonald · 03/08/2016 21:04

Well yes, there's no reason why potential male employees would be turned away. After all there is a thriving gay community and the article does say that customers will be offered a choice of flellators (word?) on an iPad, so presumably there'd be quite a few different 'menu' options.

Dakgalbi · 03/08/2016 22:24

Surely this can't be legal in the UK?

Maybe he got the idea from South Korea where, allegedly, there are "coffee girls" who deliver coffee and provide "personal services".

DadWasHere · 04/08/2016 00:01

An opportunity for a Fish and Cunnilingus bistro next door?

NovemberInDailyFailLand · 04/08/2016 00:09

So, women are now reduced to being commodities purchased via an ipad.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 04/08/2016 01:23

WeMustSurelyBeLearning sorry

I can't see how this can possibly be legal in the UK.

LuluJakey1 · 04/08/2016 02:16

I am pondering the details of it:
Will you be able to sit outside on a nice day?
If the blow jobs are in the cafe bit, will the women be 'dressed up' or just in jeans and tops?
Would it contravene Food Hygiene Regulations? How could they make sure they met them?
Will the men be expected to use condoms? What will the disposal methods be? Surely it won't just be put on the plate with the serviette and the cake fork?
£50 seems expensive to me for a cup of coffee and a blow job, particularly if it is happening in the cafe itself and you don't even get a room.
I wonder if £50 includes a free refill.
Would that be for any coffee or just an Americano. For example, could you choose a frappucino with whipped cream and chocolate flake and not be charged extra?

CanadianJohn · 04/08/2016 03:50

Why coffee? It seems ice cream would be more suitable; I vaguely remember some aphorism about a cool head being better.

I don't think it's real. It's just publicity for their 'sponsor' . But I kind of wish the article had approached it like this thread instead of writing a puff PR piece for an escort/porn company no idea what the company does because I am not clicking on the link

elQuintoConyo · 04/08/2016 07:34

NeedACleverNN · 04/08/2016 07:41

Aren't they just Dixie

That's the second twat comment I've seen him make. The first is an actual real life transphobic comment. A proper one for people to complain about instead of the usual stuff

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 04/08/2016 08:46

The Independent article is terrible. I think you are right it's just sneak adverts for the porn company. The Geneva café doesn't exist yet (and hopefully never will)

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 04/08/2016 08:50

gillybeanz

is there only me that thinks this is a good idea?

Yes

MagicalRealist · 04/08/2016 10:13

It won't happen.

ExitPursuedByABear · 04/08/2016 11:51

I'm sure I saw a piece on the local news about a cafe in Manchester where you could stroke a cat whilst you drank your brew.
