Well HELLO there!!!! Mega effort last night, well.done. I think the last 100 posts will be a bit teary with lots of fond farewells. This thread has been like a long train journey where you don't know the people sitting in the seat next to you, then a conversation starts up,more people join in, someone goes to the buffet car and before you know it, there's a wild party going on.

Whilst we're on the subject of bad jokes and dog jokes, I told DS a number of years ago that we were going to get a dog. A very special dog. A dog that was a cross between a Shih Tsu and a Poodle. It will be called a Shitzpoo. He thought that his was the funniest thing ever and told his best friend all about it in the rise garden at Castle Howard. Oh, the looks we got! Hilarious.

The bit I particularly don't like about the thread ending is that, if you all namechange regularly, you really will have disappeared into the ether. You'll always know me on future threads as I keep the same name (and Mrs TP has been around for years) but I will be forever thinking: hmm - that sounds like Portia/Vanilla/toadgirl/shags etc, but IS IT?
