Generally meant sardonically, it must be said.

Bettercallsaul1 · 29/07/2016 15:53

Has this become a General Information thread? Like Directory Enquiries?

MrsTerryPratchett · 29/07/2016 16:25

Can we ask anything?

toadgirl · 29/07/2016 16:31

It means Hope this helps. HTH

This is something I've meant to ask before. Now I know. This is an educational thread for me.

Bettercallsaul1 · 29/07/2016 16:52

All enquiries welcome! If you have any supernatural ones especially vampires ask Lisa. If you have any on the Game, Mrs TP is the resident expert. Any questions about the works of Jane Austen should be addressed to Ms Bettercallsaul1 ,TalcandTurnips or the OP.

I think that's most areas covered.

LisaMed1 · 29/07/2016 17:36

I know absolutely nothing about vampires and haven't planted garlic in the garden...

Did you know that some of the oldest fabric made in Europe was made from nettles?

Mercedes519 · 29/07/2016 17:53

By the way, do you know that today is the apocalypse?

Which means someone will definitely win The Game.

If someone wins a game but there is no one left alive do they really win? And does it make a sound...?

Rrross1ges · 29/07/2016 19:15

By the way, do you know that today is the apocalypse?

What time? Is it worth me cleaning the kitchen floor this evening?

PortiaCastis · 29/07/2016 19:34

I am tres upset I've started 3 threads today and the only one to get a response is in site stuff
I must be posting shite Grin

MrsTerryPratchett · 29/07/2016 20:08

By the way, do you know that today is the apocalypse? I spent hours writing a grant when I could have been snorting cocaine off Idris Elba. Or something.

VanillaSugar · 29/07/2016 20:33

What time is The Apocalypse and will it be repeated on BBC2?

OP posts:
VanillaSugar · 29/07/2016 20:34

And BTW, am chuffed to bits - am quarter of the way to the thousand!!!

OP posts:
Bettercallsaul1 · 29/07/2016 20:55

Well, I hope the Apocalypse - and the end of the world as we know it - won't get in the way of that, Vanilla - that would be terrible timing!

VanillaSugar · 29/07/2016 23:19

Yeah, can i get to a thousand before the end of everything please?!

OP posts:
MrsTerryPratchett · 30/07/2016 00:04

I don't know about that. I have Prepping to do.

Bettercallsaul1 · 30/07/2016 01:37

Prepping for the end of the world or prepping for dinner?

paxillin · 30/07/2016 01:59

The apocalypse was a little underwhelming. Light drizzle and not much else here.

toadgirl · 30/07/2016 06:49

jjust woken uo and the world is still here i think - would hate your thread not to reach 1000

Mercedes519 · 30/07/2016 08:01

My apologies to anyone who was prepared for it...this morning must be a bit of a disappointment. For me, the sun is shining so looks like the first day of the rest of our lives. Crack on then...

LisaMed1 · 30/07/2016 08:46

I'm off to help at the church fair this morning. It will be like the apocalypse.

RufusTheReindeer · 30/07/2016 09:08

Not RTFT

But i hope this helps you get to 1000

VanillaSugar · 30/07/2016 09:26

I have a hangover the size of The Apocalypse. Curse you, Pimms, curse you.

Bettercallsaul1 · 30/07/2016 09:27

At least it was worth Rrross1ges cleaning her floor. I bet she was glad about that.

Bettercallsaul1 · 30/07/2016 09:31

There seem to be a lot of false Apocalypses - maybe it's actually tonight . It would be easy to miscalculate by a day. I think we should remain prepared.
