I'm reading alot about the issue with trans and toilets recently and got me thinking about times my brother has had to take his daughter to the toilet and was taking her to the Men's (when disabled toilets weren't there or out of order ect) and I protested he take her into the women's as it wasn't appropriate considering men have there things out at the urinals and things, and seats are more likely to be peed on ect. So he began doing so and got alot of looks from women. Ive been thinking about it alot more and do understand its a really hard one. What would you say daddies in the ladies with daughters or should take them in the men's?

Bambini - I suspect I must have missed a comment several pages back as I'm confused by your comment. Suffice to say that it was crystal clear that he was in the wrong changing room!

Shush - i was being a bit obtuse. Been reading some twitter convos regarding trans ideaology.

Seems you really can't tell or assume someones gender or sex anymore. Saw a woman on twitter being asked how she knew she was a woman, was she a doctor, had she had tests to prove it?

Therre is a lot of strange thinking out there and people are being brainwashed, shamed, threatened and forced to accept it or at least not challenge it.

I once got asked exactly this in a FB group about trans discussion. Followed by "I think you're a man, how does that make you feel, huh, HUH?"

My answer was "exceptionally sorry that you clearly have such bad eyesight and low IQ"

I got booted, apparently it's transphobic for women to think they're women because...they're women

Has anyone actually experienced this ? A man coming in the ladies with a dd.

No. I think it's one of those things to add to the "only on MN" list

UterusUterusGhali · 12/07/2016 14:23

Pinkie. Yes. I have.

As I mentioned I was too shocked to say anything but wish I had.

VoD - the thread has also discussed whether women should take boys into the mens; the general consensus is stick to the sex appropriate to the adult if there isn't a unisex (eg P&C) option.

yes. Thinking about it, several times in a public toilet on the beach, but also in other places. I think most people ignored, and a couple of women smiled at the girl.
