Like my own surname, but some close runners..

Another one for Death.

Windhover would be nice.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 18/06/2016 00:36

Shepard. Mass Effect fans will know why.

JakeyB · 18/06/2016 00:40

Gerritsdochter is my fantasy name.

But I quite fancy being a Rollo or Wodehouse too.

shadowfax07 · 18/06/2016 00:41

Capulet Grin It matches my first name.

Pangurban1 · 18/06/2016 00:42

Someone said they love colours for surnames.

There is an Irish barrister called Mr. Garnet Orange.

PHeadPH · 18/06/2016 00:54

Fox-Wilde. I heard it on MN and thought it was fab.

Cadogan is nice.

Buchanan. For the tartan, which is beautiful, especially the muted/hunting ones.

Mortimer. Saw it on a van. Really like it

NoncommittalToSparkleMotion · 18/06/2016 02:34

Greenslade. I know someone as an acquaintance with this name and I love it.

MaryDoloresOHoolihan · 18/06/2016 06:13

Driscoll. Have wanted to be a Driscoll since I was a kid, it makes my first name sound cool. Met Jilly Cooper once and she said she loved my name and was going to use it in her book. And she did. It's quite boring though but if my surname was Driscoll I feel my life would have been endlessly glamorous.

Grin

I'd also settle for Redford or Eastwood

DP's stepfather's surname was "dare". He'd have been "Dave Dare" if he'd changed his name when his mother remarried. So cool.

I kept asking him why he hadn't changed his name too (he didn't keep in touch or like his dad at all anyway) and eventually he said,

"Because I was 22. It would have been WEIRD!"

Oh. I'd thought he was about 8! Blush still love the name though. DD could totally rock being a Dare instead of her actual surname which rhymes with a fair few unfortunate things.

De Silva

MrsPresley · 18/06/2016 07:05

I already have my perfect surname

only on here though

puglife15 · 18/06/2016 07:09

I like lots of animal names (Fox, Swan, Woolf, Wren), i've always liked James and any name with Fitz.

Morghulis · 18/06/2016 07:25

DeLaurentis.
Carruthers.
And another vote for Valentine.

AngieBolen · 18/06/2016 07:34

Hamilton

I once had a boyfriend (we were both adults!) and after about a year I said I bet he didn't even know my surname...he took a guess at Hamilton (he was so wrong!) but I guess it must suit me.

BikeRunSki · 18/06/2016 07:43

I've worked with people called Money, Valentine and Christmas and I know someone who was a Snowball until she got married. I love that these words became quirky surnames.

pineapplecrush · 18/06/2016 08:33

I like most names starting with Fitz, particularly Fitzgerald, our family doctor as a child. Something Italian would be nice, De Maggio has a ring to it. Another vote for Carmichael too.

MissHooliesCardigan · 18/06/2016 08:39

Valentine
Maitland
Mendelssohn
De Laune

When I get my novel published, my pen name will be Kate Mendelssohn.

Pangurban1, it was me who loves colours. I love the sound of Mr Garnet Orange, very mysterious and Cluedo-esq Grin
