I really have absolute zero interest in them or their shows, and I'd only want the name if they didnt exist weren't famous, but I do love how that name sounds. Kaaaarrr-DASHHH-eeaaaaan, fab.

Or Shakespeare.

QuimReaper · 17/06/2016 23:24

I actually changed my name to my chosen surname a few years ago. Best thing I ever did, I'm always getting compliments and LOVE giving my name over the phone, in restaurants etc.!

Other than that though, for some reason I've always loved the name Lennox.

I LOVE my surname which makes up for my loathing of my first name. In fact I love it so much I've already told dp that when we get married I'm keeping it, or double barrelling it.

TrivialBlah · 17/06/2016 23:49

I love colours for surnames though. I knew someone whose surname was Scarlett, loved it!

Whatthefoxgoingon · 17/06/2016 23:52

YouTheCat · 18/06/2016 00:11

Then I'd change my first names to Iris Penelope.

Pangurban1 · 18/06/2016 00:33

uniquehorn , "Macateer. I've always liked that name since I found out it means "son of a nun"!

Macateer, McAteer, McAtee, or any other anglicised phonetic spelling such as McIntyre, is not based on a surname meaning 'son of a nun'.

It is from the surname Mac an t-Saoir. Son of a carpenter.

If you're keen on being the sprog of a religious of some sort; Taggart, MacTaggart etc are phonetic anglicisations of Mac an t-Sagairt. Son of a priest.
