To think it's grim and lazy to piss in the shower

Inspired by another thread but not a TAAT.

I'm surprised how many people think it's OK and actually do it themselves.

I am the only one who uses my shower, it is a sanctuary for me and my piss.

I don't pee in the bath because I am sat in it although I do drink wine in it.

I get pissed in the bath and pee in the shower

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 07/06/2016 14:39

If you think that's grim you have issues.

I once had a very nasty bout of food poisoning and was in the shower to cool down ... Pee was the least of my worries. I didn't get out in time. Blush

JacquesHammer · 07/06/2016 14:40

It's not like I just piss and get out

Wouldn't that make for a waste of one's day if every time you went to the loo you got into the shower Grin

nicolasixx · 07/06/2016 14:41

Am amazed people think it's ok! Used to occasionally at uni. If someone heard the toilet lock go first they would invariably get out and jump in the one shower for ten minutes Blush I was always ashamed of peeing instead of visiting bathroom first. Have never done it since!

It's fine. What's the issue? It goes straight down the drain, your legs are clean and washed, no problem.

squoosh · 07/06/2016 14:42

I was told that a home remedy for a UTI is to wee in a bicarb bath. As your urethra opens the bicarb fizzes upwards. Not sure if it works.

Will those who think it is wrong please just tell us WHY? I do it most showers. No issue at all Smile.

AddictedToCoYo · 07/06/2016 14:44

I get pissed in the bath and pee in the shower

Me too.

Although I do draw the line at crapping and vomiting anywhere but down the loo.

HereSheComestoSavetheDay · 07/06/2016 14:45

Yep, I brush my teeth in there too.

And when I've been particularly short on time, I've had a drink in there. But that DID feel weird!

Whisky2014 · 07/06/2016 14:45

YABU.

It's economical. And you talk about pissing over yourself..so what - you're in a shower :)

I'm sorry but it is grim. Why would you do that when there is (usually) a loo close by? I just use it before I get in the shower. Sounds like some sort of weird fetish - urgh! I had no idea that anyone did this! As for sitting in your urine during a bath - that's just really gross.

I don't know about anyone else but I use a shower to wash myself - not pee in it! That's what a toilet is for! Use it!

YADNBU OP - I totally agree with you!

AddictedToCoYo · 07/06/2016 14:48

PrivatePike sometimes, sometimes not but what does it matter if it's all getting washed straight off? Actually you can't really feel it because it mingles with the shower water. And if you stand slightly astride you can wee and it comes out in a slightly forward facing stream without touching your legs at all, a bit like a man's would, but without the handy directional nozzle attachment. Grin

Have you never stood on a (deserted) beach or in a (deserted) field and been desperate for a wee, so hoiked up your dress a bit, yanked your knickers to one side, stood with your legs apart and peed on the ground? You haven't lived.

Osirus · 07/06/2016 14:48

I agree, it is a bit "animal". Maybe I've just led a very sheltered life.

I really can't see a problem with it. The water is running you wash yourself afterwards and you save water and money by not flushing the loo. I also brush my teeth in the shower, saves time!

I brush in there too. I don't wee because I can't really perform, it's like I'm allowing myself to wee myself and my body won't let it happen. But I don't see anything wrong with it- it's practically sterile

Sallystyle · 07/06/2016 14:51

Love a good pee in the shower!

Sallystyle · 07/06/2016 14:54

And I think it is grim not to the flush the toilet after every pee.

Nothing I hate more than going to the toilet to find pee in it. Especially smelly morning pee. I get it's more environmentally friendly but I just don't want to sit down on a toilet with pee in it.

AddictedToCoYo · 07/06/2016 14:54

Since I had my first baby I actually cannot physically have a shower without getting an immediate urge to wee a bit. It's like some weird sort of Pavlovian response, I always automatically let a little tinkle go even if I don't really need one.
