To think it's grim and lazy to piss in the shower

Inspired by another thread but not a TAAT.

I'm surprised how many people think it's OK and actually do it themselves.

I swear I had no hint of wanting a piss before reading this thread. dashes off to pee

magratvonlipwig · 08/06/2016 21:26

Can't not.... I turn on the water and I need to go. urgently ! I don't fancy dripping all iver the bathroom floor so I just let it go !!!

Sheilasfeels · 08/06/2016 22:30

I love a good wee in the shower... and in the bath. Why not. Its good for the skin*

*probably.

PregnantAndEngaged · 08/06/2016 22:31

What do you think of men having a wank in the shower then?

gooddays · 08/06/2016 22:50

It is grim, wouldn't & don't do it - yuck

whois · 08/06/2016 22:52

This is a bit gross, but a few years ago we were staying in a friends parents farmhouse on a hill on holiday. About 12 of us. DP and I had the basement room and there was a shower down there but no toilet.

Every morning I would get in the shower and have a massive, massive wee. It felt so good, and yet so wrong.

houseeveryweekend · 08/06/2016 22:53

Well yeah its a bit lazy but its not really grim is it. I mean you are washing so its actually probably cleaner than pissing in the toilet!

Bettercallsaul1 · 08/06/2016 23:16

whois - What about the other function? Did you fertilise the fields?

BabyBrownEyes · 09/06/2016 03:35

I suppose you rip out the bathroom the day you move into a new house then?

CheerfulYank · 09/06/2016 04:53

Of course I pee in the shower. Confused It never occurred to me that anyone wouldn't.

I keep tampons in, though.

TheDowagerCuntess · 09/06/2016 05:50

I'm completely amazed at how prevalent this is. I enter the bathroom of a morning, utilise the loo, and then have a shower. Why would you wait until you got in the shower, when someone has kindly designed an invention, specially for the purpose of weeing 🚽 and it's right there?!

SetPhasersTaeMalkie · 09/06/2016 06:13

Totally agree Dowager. Loo first, then shower. It's right there, in the same room. Why would you walk past it to jump in the shower and then think ' Oh wait, I need to pee.' Very odd.

Oysterbabe · 09/06/2016 07:15

Because you don't want to waste water?

SetPhasersTaeMalkie · 09/06/2016 07:37

Of course, saving water. So there are people deliberately holding on, walking past a loo and then relieving themselves in the shower. My word.

Still cannot imagine ever doing it.

liz70 · 09/06/2016 07:43

I have never in my life weed (wee-ed? What is the p/t or p/p?) in the shower, and I'm not about to start now, at least not until I'm in my dotage.

Besides, my usual morning routine goes thus:

Get up, go for a pee ( in the loo )
Wake DD3 and take her to go for a pee ( in the loo )
Go downstairs and get DD3 her breakfast
Have a cup of tea myself

By which time, DH has had his shower, so after fetching DD3's uniform down for her, I go upstairs, have another wee if necessary ( in the loo ), then...

I have my urine free shower.

Do you shower pee-ers also wee in public swimming pools? I honestly thought hoped only little children did that. Hmm

TheDowagerCuntess · 09/06/2016 08:33

My DC, 7 and 5, jump out of the bath and use the loo if they need to wee. They do this regularly. I am therefore certain that they don't sometimes decide that wallowing in their own piss a desirable/pleasurable experience.

So it's clearly something that evolves from when you're a child, maybe. It has never occurred to me to bath in my own piss and/or piss down my legs into the shower plug, simply because it's not something I've ever done. And it's too late now to reach an old dog new tricks.

It may not actually be grim, but it feels rather tramp-like (as in, an actual homeless tramp, not a 'tramp') to wee on oneself. Especially when, again, the loo is right there!? Grin

And I'm now certain that grown adults regularly wee in the pool, and it's making a hell of a lot of sense as to why people are so paranoid about them. Rightly so, it certainly seems. 😷

CheerfulYank · 09/06/2016 08:46

No, I wouldn't pee in a pool with a bunch of other people in water that was just sitting there :o

CheerfulYank · 09/06/2016 08:46

But yes it literally has never occurred to me that anyone would be opposed to peeing in the shower!

imwithspud · 09/06/2016 08:47

There's a difference between peeing in the shower and peeing in the pool, it's unfair to assume that just because people pee in the shower means they pee in swimming pools too.

whois · 09/06/2016 08:59

whois - What about the other function? Did you fertilise the fields?

Oh there was a toilet in the main building - just not in the outbuilding I was sleeping in! Poo in the toilet.

Bettercallsaul1 · 09/06/2016 09:13

You missed a chance to be really eco there! Grin

Abraiid1 · 09/06/2016 09:13

The thought of getting into a shower in which someone has urinated and possibly not cleaned afterwards makes me shudder.

LostTheTouch · 09/06/2016 09:23

Someone earlier said urine isn't good for jellyfish stings, but it is.

I was marooned on an island in Florida and stung by a jellyfish. It felt and looked like I'd rubbed stinging nettles into my flesh. There was no shop as it was an island, so I nipped into the toilet and peed in my hand, then slapped it on. The sweet relief was immediate.

I was with my special forces boyfriend at the time, and he was really impressed by my survival skills
