Katie Hopkins is perfectly capable of saying that women shouldn't complain if they're assaulted when paralytically drunk. I'm waiting for her to say it. Will you still think she's an amazing role model or will that be a bridge too far. (Clearly insulting the poor, the stateless, the unemployed, the ginger, the breast feeding and the overweight is all fair game as far as you're concerned).

If you really think we should all be able to disagree respectfully, why on earth are you defending the worst example of this presently in the UK? KH seems to be on a one woman mission to make money show that it's clever and funny to disagree with everyone who isn't exactly the same as you, taking any opportunity to annihilate them over any percieved weakness.

One day the group she's ranting about will touch a nerve and then you'll suddenly understand exactly why it's not OK to say the things she does and why society despising someone so nasty actually says something great about our conscience as a nation.

Blankets over their heads Olivia? Apologists of Islamist terror?? Hmm

How many threads are you going to post dubious bollocks on? Are you going for some sort of deletion record?

To the Western mindset Ramadan does seem over the top and possibly dangerous particularly when it is tranferred to areas with long daylight hours. However millions of Moslems around the world seem to be able to manage it without an issue.

Having Muslim employees may be good for employers in other ways e.g. no binge drinking hangovers etc

I live in a Muslim county. I am being driven by taxi drivers every single day who are fasting. My kids are being taught by teachers who are fasting. If we get sick, we'll be treated by medical staff who are fasting.
What is more, even though I am not Muslim, it is illegal for me to eat, drink, smoke or play music in public during the day. My kids ballet lessons have changed to stretching classes. Some of my favourite restaurants are not open in the day. If I want to eat in a mall, I do it behind large screens. My kids eat lunch in school separately to their friends who are fasting and if they want water, they drink it elsewhere.
It is a beautiful and special month that we really enjoy as a family. It's bloody hot here so we have to plan things maybe a little bit differently. Do we mind? No.
I wish KH would visit here... I bet she wouldn't comply and shed end up being arrested 😂

gonetoseeamanaboutadog Assault/rape when drunk? This happened to me when I was younger. A few times. Wouldn't dream of going to the police about it though as I was too drunk to know the facts of what happened.

EarlGrey, yeah, you're in the ME, they're fasting for less than 13.5 hours. Not up to 20 like in the UK.

The sooner people realise that there is no God and that Islam is sexist and homophobic to its core the better.

People here are also fasting in temps up to 125 degrees.

angelos02 If you really do know that it happened to you, they shouldn't have got away with it. Anyway, I was just making the point that Katie Hopkins sooner or later gets a low blow at just about everyone on the planet and none of it is acceptable and none of it should be given a platform.
