Have labour missed an opportunity for not voting Andy Burnham as leader

Not a corbyn hater I like him and think he is very principled in his ideology. However you see how Andy Burnham has conducted himself in the last week and challenged the Hillsborough enquiries and I can't help but think what if? He has showed that he is an excellent constituency MP, he's had experience as Secretary of State and I think he wouldn't be as divisive.

Well cat, if there are Conservative voters and party members who really feel the way, they could be taking action. But they won't - by doing and saying nothing, they are condoning and accepting ZG's campaign and DC's endorsement of it. At least LP members are prepared to criticise their leadership - although I'm not all that sure of the motives of some of them. And the bottom line is that his campaign is blessed, encouraged and supported because part of the heart of Conservatism is racist to the core and that includes being anti Semitic but in more subtle ways.

And when is the enquiry into ZG starting ? Oh wait a minute.... That's official policy

Sixweekstowait · 01/05/2016 22:13

And can.i remind you again about Aidan Burley? Not even suspended and allowed to carry on being an MP? Still what's a bit of Hitler worship and wearing of Nazi uniforms between friends?

You say all that but deny there is a problem in Labour.

You aren't a Labour member, don't campaign for the party.

You apoarently don't see anti-semitism within the party.

That's official policy

Links to prove that claim please.

I'm not denying there is a problem with Labour ( I don't know the scale of it and who does?) I'm saying the Tories are either racists or hypocrites for allowing ZG to campaign as he is. And of course it's official policy, DC stood up in the Hof C and gave ZG his full backing - not sure how much more official than that you can get - plus the deafening silence from the front bench.
