AIBU to think that Nadia's cake was a bit pants

It just doesn't appear as professional as I was hoping for I guess. It looks wonky and the fondant icing looks badly done. I was so hoping for it to be amazing.

It was an emotional day for the Queen, even the cake was in tiers.

Hardly a Pinterest fail but I was hoping for a leetle bit more decoration.

It wasn't crooked on live TV this morning when presented to Queen - how odd!

I thought it looked fine.

Very odd cake and the colours!! It's wobbly, wonky, badly covered and looks like a kid made it. Love love nadia but this is terrible. There's friends on fb who could've done a better job.

But the joy on nadias face is lovely.

it still looks wonky in the second pic and the icing on the top tier is too thin you can still see the layers of sponge through it

I think she would of liked mine better. Nothing like a nice chocolate cake for ones birthday instead of a cake with marmalade in it. Thats just rank rotten

Yeah it looked horrible. What was the purple colour supposed to represent? I wish she'd done more research into it. It was wonky too.

stealth it is hands down the best chocolate cake ive tasted. My best friend made me it and even put chocolate chips in the sponge. Utter heaven

She didn't even bloomin ganache it! It's because she won the bake off (so was an amateur) and had all the hype, I think she's written a book, but actually isn't an expert and then she gets opportunities like this and is out of her depth.

I am so cringeing for her. She is so lovely! But it's quite a bit embarrassing what Twitter and the tabloids are all saying about it. I'd cry for days!

A lot of cakes the Queen would have received will have been dummies, that's what I thought she meant when she asked about the cutting... surely even the toughest of fruit cakes would cut! And if you're a good baker your cake wouldn't be uncuttably hard Confused
