Can someone explain Matthew Wright's issue with MN?

Apparently this is home to some of the "most illiterate.... harridans" online. That's the comment he's just made on this morning's show. Is it intended to be tongue in cheek and I've just not got the joke? or does he genuinely think this site is a pile of shit despite the fact that threads topics on here are often fished for topical discussion on his show.

I love The MW Show, he makes me crack up sometimes, he's so rude. I actually think he'd fit in well on MN.

99% of what he's says seems to me to be tongue in cheek, he's got a very naughty sparkle in his eye. My particular favourite is when he tells callers that they've rung the wrong show and Jeremy Kyle is on the other side.

I work from home most days and like Ronald says, it's the only thing worth watching before The Daily Politics Show (I need background noise to work).

Matthew is just being smart. He uses Mumsnet a lot for the basis for some of his discussions I think and hasn't got the balls to admit it.

I like The Wright Stuff .
(I also like The Daily Politics, and I love PMQs.)
