Which threads get you hooked?

Which threads do you rush to hide because you feel the rage when you read them??

I love a good wedding thread and the 'joint finances' threads

I have to hide the threads about SAHP housework roles and also the BF/FF threads. I also hide a lot of the MIL threads too actually

I hate threads about weight/food.

Me, I like an embarrassing moment thread, a fart thread (there's a hilarious one on the go at the moment) and I also like a MIL thread (because I had a nightmare one). I also like ones where the OP is posting about an annoying person at work.

Can't be doing with FF/BF, finances or career type ones.

I love household ones! How often do you wash your sheets

Can't say I'm too keen on the diet/weight ones

Confusing juvenile Facebook he said she said type ones. boring

Hate the 'at what age did your lo sleep through the night' and similar type ones. You get hundreds of replies telling you what their kids did and seems such pointless information.

I love a good parking thread. Hate disabled/P&C parking though. Yawn.

Enjoy a bridezilla one but only when it is beyond ridiculous, like the one when the bride wanted her best friend to decorate the venue for free, but hadn't asked her to the wedding.

Don't like MIL ones as they give me the rage. Seems to me as if some MILs can't do right for doing wrong. i.e. WTF my MIL did my ironing and cleaned the house, how dare she!

BF versus FF exceedingly boring, do what you want.

I like quirky and different threads as I've been here 11 yrs and seen it all before.

Loved Elderly Korean Lady and mexican property hijacker and pirate sex, but threads like those are few and far between.

My favourite topic is What We're Reading. I get nearly all my book recommendations from it these days.

I love a wedding thread the loonier the better dont like diet threads some of the posters hardly eat a thing.

I like random im bored or what you up to threads

I love the Telly Addicts threads that go with my favourite programs. Can ' usual follow along in real time any more thanks to baby taking up evening and then me needing to get head down early before the night wake ups so have to watch the 9pm programs on catch up. But I like to see what everyone else made of the programs.

Love a good fart/embarrassing thread or 'favourite dirty food' type ones. Lighthearted ones mainly. Really can't be arsed with the lengthy relationship/friendship woes ones, school hate bitchiness. (hoping the mums are much nicer when I am doing the school run).

Often I'll click on a thread that has loads of posts just to see what all the fuss is about.

I love anything where the OP is fuming, angry or seething
I avoid parking, feminist and babies

Oh yes Telly threads like those. Avoid trans threads like the plague

I like the Sex topic especially when people froth about the content.

I hate threads on AIBU where someone says "AIBU to ask you if I should donate money to charity" and everyone piles in and says YANBU.

I like AIBU threads where the poster is being vvvvvu!

Parking threads are always a hit.

Love TV threads on dross I'm watching. Sometimes the humour is just classic and I can't watch the programme properly for laughing.

Trans threads I ignore. Or threads where someone has fixed opinions and won't even listen to anyone else. Or threads asking you to sign something. I ignore a lot of threads

I like bodily function threads, films, philosophy, household, DIY, decorating, house renovation, relationships, baking, food, many more.
Not too keen on wedding, baby, general wittering and many more.

I can't stand cleanliness/hygiene related threads. They give me the rage. Do people really wash their sheets every week and hair every day?! I have to stay away from those.
I like any threads in Parenting as I have two under two so it normally always relates to me.

Actually the threads that annoy me the most are the ones with really long titles. there always seem to be loads of conception ones going with titles that span four lines. It upsets my layout!

Like: Threads where someone is worries/needs advice and gets good support and goes away reassured.
School appeals that win after help from mn.
Ongoing tales of craziness like parking types. Probably highly exaggerated, but entertaining.
Totally crazy OPs frothing at the mouth where everyone ignores them and goes off on a totally random tangent.

Hate/hide: 100% attendance award threads. Yes, some children will never get them. I'll never get an award for art or athletics either and some children will get the frequently because they're lucky enough to be born talented at that.
Pat me on the back and say well done threads. Fine you helped a little old lady across the road. You don't need to ask if it was unreasonable so everyone can say how brilliant you are. Don't wash your clean linen in public.
School gate cliques. They're friends. Not many people arrive somewhere and think "there's that group of friends over there that I've known for years and I really like. So I'll go and stand over there with people I don't really know in case they think I'm being cliquey".
Shall I take my children on holiday in term time threads. You know the situation either do it and don't moan that you got fined or don't. A foreign holiday is not a right, and I'll bet you spend more on the term tie holiday than we do renting a little cottage in Kent. I've never even had a passport. If the only holiday you could afford is a tent in May, some sympathy. But it never is. And it will effect the child. Ds had 2 weeks off at the start of this term due to illness. There's still things coming up which he missed and he's a bright little 8yo and I've done extra catch up with him, as has the teacher.

Tbf i think the long titles are in jokes. I dont like threads thst go round in circles usuallly feeding baby milk threads they go on for pages and say the same things.

I don't hate them - but I find any actual parenting threads mostly that dull that I won't click on them.

Threads with feckless DHs/DPs give me the utter rage, and I usually just have to click off them.

I love a good, 'AIBU, or is this woman taking the total piss?' threads - because inevitably the woman does in fact have a brass neck, and then everyone gets behind the OP and it's a nice feeling of solidarity. Much nicer that when everyone piles in on the OP.
