Which threads get you hooked?

Which threads do you rush to hide because you feel the rage when you read them?? Grin

I love a good wedding thread and the 'joint finances' threads Grin

I have to hide the threads about SAHP housework roles and also the BF/FF threads. I also hide a lot of the MIL threads too actually Grin

And I hate, hate, hate the "Do you leave your child in the car whilst you pay for petrol" threads....

They read like a "I'm a better parent than you" competition under the guise of forecourt safety Grin

I hate the ones where if you eat a bit of easter chocolate you are a thief, stealing from your child and should probably go to prison Hmm

Notsogrimupnorth · 28/03/2016 13:00

Crikey! If that was the case, I'd have lost my Liberty several times over - am paying my dues with excessive love handles instead Blush

Dh and I had salmon for dinner while the dc had chicken nuggets, I wonder how much mnet jail time we would getGrin

Lois you should be on the fat kids thread they'd eat you alive (the posters, not the fat kids)!

Unsurprisingly, I hate the fat kids threads, where posters feign concern for children when in fact they want a good ooo look at the fatty lets shame it thread. That tends to get my goat (haven't had a good goat on here for a long time ...)

But I lurve parking threads, entitled people threads (colleagues who want lifts), MiL always a favourite.

burning I threw my ten cents in earlier and then buggered off. Its turned into the usual hysteria. It's one of those topics that bring the nastier posters up to the surface unfortunately. Easter Sad

BreconBeBuggered · 29/03/2016 00:27

I like a bit of vicarious parking rage. I always read those. I like spooky ones as well, until the Realist brigade come along and spoil the show. I'm not averse to joining the Realist brigade myself on threads about mediums, though.

SAHM/WOHM threads are beyond tedious. I also avoid threads called Phwoarr, Random Celebrity, wish he was my DH, mostly because I have seldom heard of said celebrity and I hate feeling out of the loop.

BillyDaveysDaughter · 29/03/2016 00:55

I hate the sad threads where I go to the effort of typing a supportive response, only to cross post with the OP having a strop and saying they never asked for advice they were just saying they're a special snowflake.

I don't enjoy the politics ones. Steer clear of anything dog related as I'll get wound up. Love a good laugh a minute thread and some hearty MN toilet humour.
