The 'which song' thread has got me thinking... I was 15, how old were you?

14 he was also 14

21 to a twat!! I met DH a few months later too. All the 13/14 ages are freaking me out having a DD that age now. She hasn't even kissed a boy yet & is only getting interested in boys now (ones on TV anyway). She is going to be fussy I think!!

16 to a 15 year old I had met 2 days earlier, drunk on a bathroom floor. Not my finest moment. Hey ho... In my defence he was a childrens TV star at the time & I think I was star struck

In reality there's such broad age ranges.

15. He was 17, gorgeous, funny, clever, and witty. We used protection, and he was very tender/ gentle. Stayed friends and had the odd hookup (between boyfriends/girlfriends) for about 3 years. Lost contact with him eventually when I lost my phone/his number.

I think this is a lesson to teen parents, to remember what you done at that age and dont forget it, i apply this to everything with my teenage children, so try not to be to hard on them. After all we have done it ourselves whever we have been caught or not.

Shortly after my 15th birthday to my boyfriend of 2 months. It was planned, in his bedroom with candles and Celine Dion playing in the background (haha!). It was lovely - no regrets. Both each other's firsts.

I ended up pregnant some months later with now ds, stayed with the boyfriend until I was 22, having dd toward the end of our relationship. We get on very well.

Marrying DP at the end of this year (i'm 26 now) and he's my second ever sexual partner. We were in the same class at school, he fancied me but I only had eyes for my 'cool' boyfriend (above). Fate sure showed me Met current DP again at work, fell in love - he rocks my world!

14, random boy who was older than me and pretty good in bed, was a lot of fun and inspired me to shag around like a loony for several years until AIDS scared me into safe sex. Shame, really, I loved my early shagging around years where the only thing I had to worry about was pregnancy and was on the pill anyway so not that worried.

I'd just turned 14. I always felt okay about it until the last few years where I've done a lot of accepting and thinking. He was 17 and raped me later into our relationship more than once. The whole thing was a power play. I think completely differently about it, and him, now. I always used to disagree with people who put down age gap relationships, and actually there is no way that dynamic can ever be healthy.

I was sexually abused as a child as well... I don't know how far it went, as I've blocked a lot of it out. But I have fragmented memories from the time - and people involved - that would suggested 14 wasn't the first time.

All in all, my relationship with sex was completely destroyed, until fairly recently, and even now there are times when I can't stand to be touched.

It's so odd, as a teenager it didn't feel like this big aim that some feel it as, and in some ways I'm glad it happened when it did so that when horrible things happened - and the memories of worse came back - that I at least had something to argue "some of the times have been good", or I don't think I'd want any physical interaction ever again.

I'm feeling so sad for those of you who suffered sexual abuse. It is heart wrenching and makes me feel so angry for you. I'm so sorry.

For me 23 or 24, when engaged to Dh. It was very tempting in 2 previous relationships but I'm so glad worked out the way it did.

14 (just) with the boy I'd been dating for a few weeks and we stayed together for 4 months altogether. He was about 15.5 and lovely. I was gutted when he broke up with me. No regrets about it though, it was all very sweet and romantic and enjoyable, we planned ahead to do it and I didn't feel pressurised.

I bumped into him in a nightclub when I was 24 and we swapped numbers, went on a date and had a ONS for old times sake. He was still a lovely guy.

15, holiday fling, in a tent. I went away with a couple of mates, I knew I was going to do it, just had to find the appropriate candidate.
He was subsequently known as 'Richard the First' as there were at least two, possibly three Richards in my tally. I had a lot of fun in my id to late teens

VoldysGoneMouldy I'm sorry you had such a shitty time. But not all relationships with an age gap are bad. The guy I lost mine to at 15 was 2 years older and never anything but lovely. Had some bad experiences later (as an adult) with men the same age. So don't think it's the age of the guy that matters as much as his personality/mindset.
