The 'which song' thread has got me thinking... I was 15, how old were you?

Interesting thread... We should refer people back to this one when the threads about teenagers and sex crop up!

13 to a waiter on holiday because I was too immature to say NO, told him I was 16, then not again until I was actually 16

16, as a form of degrading self-harm, allowing myself to be used (was brought up with the idea of no sex before marriage).

First enjoyed it from start to finish when I was ... 23/4...
Am scared of sex now.
Feel sick now.

EcclesCakes I understnd the inability to say no. I've had sex with quite a lot of men and around half I would have said no if I'd known how/not felt I had to please.

15. on holiday to my older bf (euw! why? why? looking back he was rank..) but was delighted to be rid of it frankly and don't regret it or feel I was too young at all. however if dd were 15 and thinking about it..

17 to a boyfriend of 6ish weeks.

17. He was so good looking. Always thought he would grow up to be a really handsome man. Alas, thanks to us being Facebokk friends I know that he now looks like a balding Hugh Laurie.

18 It was with my first boyfriend - we were together for a few years and there had been months of build-up (and in my case catholic guilt) but it was all wonderful. He was lovely but I had a roving eye and a off the scale libido.

His parents used to go to lots of dinner parties and we would light a fire in their drawing room and lie in front of it snogging and having loads of foreplay, and drinking cups of tea, I've never had as much romance as in those teenage years. (We were super geeky, our relationship took off because I used to help him study ).

14, I'd lied to my friend and said I'd already 'done it', then she got a serious boyfriend so I thought I'd better do it for real before she did and started asking 'comparison' questions.

Totally stupid reason, he was a complete tart of a 15 year old bloke, and a week later I saw him with someone else coming from the direction of where we'd been a week before. I see him from time to time as he now lives just round the corner from me, and we do speak as it was a very long time ago.

21. With a friend. See him fairly often, he ended up treating me pretty badly and we're just about on track to not be awkward now (years later).

Hmmm about 18 I think. It wasn't earth shattering, it wasn't awful. I wasn't in love with him but he was a decent enough chap.

I hate that phrase. I didn't lose anything. I first had sex when I was 17, a week or so after my birthday. Boyfriend at the time wanted to do it on my birthday but I really didn't want to associate the two events in case it was crap.

I was 12, it was fine. He was 13.
I've always been mature for my age, I don't regret it and it was pretty much a non event. I don't even remember it.
I was sober, safe and with a boyfriend.
I would say though that he did initiate it and pressure me, but that still happened to my friends who were 16+ when they lost their virginities so my age was irrelevant. I wouldn't have had sex through my own desires at that age but I don't feel abused etc which people seem to assume.

My opinion is I'd prefer to have sex younger and sober, safe etc than at 18, hammered out of my face and too drunk to think to use protection for example.

23 to my first proper boyfriend. It hurt but he was lovely and I have good memories. We were together about a year, when he finished uni and moved cities for work it turned into LDR that fizzled out. Still FB acquaintances, both happily married. Getting a wee bit nostalgic now...we used to shag all night...ah to have the energy of my early 20s...

I was 15 and my boyfriend who I had been with for about a year was 21. We stayed together (on and off) for about 4 years.

My family didn't know as he was a family friend and I certainly don't regret it now, we remained good friends after we split up (and would still be now but unfortunately he died a few years ago).

16, with my boyfriend of six months who was 17.

No regrets, he was a lovely bloke and we stayed together for two years until I went away to uni.

14, was awful. Didn't want to have sex so asked him to stop, he did. I turned over into the spoon position for a cuddle instead which he took to mean carry on in a different position and ended up sticking it in the wrong hole I was so embarrassed and confused I didn't say anything until it was over. We didn't stay together long after that.

18, nearly 19. Felt like the oldest virgin in the world but absolutely no regrets in waiting

15 to my bf who was also 15. Stayed together 2 years. I dumped him and he got with my mate they have been together 20+ years now and married with 2 dd's. Still mates with both of them lovely people.

15, my parents were out for the day, it was the school holidays so I invited my friend and our boyfriends over and got very drunk on my dads home brew wine. I can't remember any of it :(
