AIBU to ask what you have on your walls?

I have a few things but my favourite is a papercut from a local artist, whose name I don't know but I love it. Hard to photograph at night though...

We have the same picture as ghostyslovesheep.

But it is in the kitchen.

It is fun to see what people have, I've seen some I'd love, some that are not my taste but I can see the appeal, and some that I think are really awful. I do like the fact it takes all sorts to make the world though

Any landscape artists you like CallMeExhausted? I do like a landscape - the whole of my mums side of my family paint landscapes so I grew up with them on the walls, though I don't have any. I'd like to get some though.

I have one by him too pinkshagpile. I think it is called city by the lake. All my friends hate it but I love it (they are all into abstract stuff which looks like paint chucked across a canvas by a toddler to me!).

We have a few by this artist. I'm a bit of a mad cat woman and DH and I started collecting them when we first got married. Not to everyone's taste but we love them.

I have this. Saw it and it spoke to me.

And we have a few Trons - dh loves them.

My favourite is by a Canadian artist named Zoltan Zsabo.

It used to hang in my mother's house (she smoked heavily) so it is in desperate need of a cleaning though.

I love work by a lady called Fi, she works under 'moonbeams kiss the sea' - Really beautiful work and has a fab fb page.

I found this while trying to find something for our bedroom. Searched high and low to find an original, got it in the US in the end. A couple of months later the artist was doing an exhibition in my home town so I took it along for him to sign. He was beautiful and humble, signed my painting and posed for a photo. How funny that he was local just after I'd found his painting! He is called Fabian Perez and I wish I had a bigger house and more money so I could buy more of his work.

I had this beauty commissioned by one of our favourite New Zealand artists, Linelle Stacey, for my DH's birthday. Photo is does not make it justice. This is Mitre Peak, in Milford Sounds, one of the most photographed landscape in New Zealand. If anyone wants to have a look at some of her paintings, look here.

We have this big picture in our living room, it's a photo of the view from our garden , overlooking a local hill

It's beautiful and I never get tired of the sunsets from our house.

This has pride of place at the moment. For his year 3 project, he decided to do Salvador Dali (no idea why) and this is his attempt at a surrealist painting- the circle in the top right corner is a face which represents the Earth! Ignore the black line down the middle, I've got a crack in my lens.

Art is such a personal thing. Our house is full of church architecture type pictures and these.... these are by Katy Jade Dobson and I love them. My sister bought me one of them and she actually met her - Apparently she's a lovely woman and very talented.. it actually makes me want more of her art as she's a genuinely nice person.
