I was school with a girl called Teresa Green, now married to a Brown.

On FB her name is Teresa Brown (Green) - almost as if her name is arguing with itself Grin

FinallyFreeFromItAll · 09/03/2016 21:53

I thought Ben Dover was a bad name - I went to school with a lad called that. Poor lad. He was known by everybody in school because of his name.

liberatedwine · 09/03/2016 21:54

Sadly, Everard isn't pronounced ever 'ard.

How is it pronounced then, Wardrobespierre? Confused

Irn Brew - Fanny

liberatedwine · 09/03/2016 22:01

Talking of calling children different versions of the same name, there are 4 sisters I know, called Emma, Emily, Amelia and Amy. Gorgeous girls, but I'd get confused if they were my kids.

thatthreadworriedmeabit · 09/03/2016 22:05

I came across a teenager last year called Rainbow Sweet.

IonaNE · 09/03/2016 22:10

"Milly" does not have to be "Emily". It could also be Mildred or Amelie/Amalia.

NoCapes · 09/03/2016 22:11

I know twin boys with normal first names but their middle names are Jack & Daniel, in Mums words "because that's what they were conceived on"
She loves to share this anecdote with whoever she meets, I've only ever met her 2 or 3 times myself

RJnomore1 · 09/03/2016 22:13

Richard head was a secondary teacher in Perthshire in the late 80s/early 90s. I know he was real as my exes friend showed me his entry in the phone book circa 1995.

He had been his teacher. Poor bloke 😁

The woman in the fanny advert is Nina from Nina and the Neurons. That's all I have to add.
