She says I'm copying her and I'm jealous of her life (I'm a couple of years older than her) because she has 3 children and I have 3 children.

I am at this because my eldest is 6 months older than hers, my middle is 3 months older than hers and my youngest is starting school soon but she's still pregnant with her third.

She's posting all over fb about me copying her family and I don't know how the heck I am meant to respond to it?? Aside from 3 kids we really have zero in common anyway but I'm fed up of being slated publicly by her and her friends (who btw I have never met). I'm almost 40 years old, this seems mental.

DH's brother is like this, the only thing, like you and your sister, they have in common is the fact that they're fathers. It's a wider jealously and it manifests itself through that as it's the only bond.

I would simply say "my children are older than yours so your accusation isn't possible" and leave it at that.

She sounds very challenging

I'd post "you know how to reach me when you've come to your senses" and delete her.

It's one thing to have weird sister issues but another to slag off someone all over Facebook

How about writing "considering all my children are older than yours, it would appear that you are copying me...don't blame you though, I am awesome!" on one of her posts about it. SHould piss her off enough stop it.

Despite living within a few minutes of each other we don't socialise together at all as I find everything becomes a competition anyway and I simply can't be arsed with it.

I just can't get my head around this current episode and she isn't talking to me so won't answer my messages asking what the f she is on about.

Maybe you're totally failing to appreciate her ironic sense of humour (more likely than that she's having a catastrophic mh issue?). In any case surely the only response is a big grin and "yes, I made my own time machine especially so I could copy you before you do things. Cunning, eh?"

I haven't put anything on her fb as whenever I do comment her little "crew" all come on to slate me. They're grown adults!!

Don't engage in a Facebook war. Whether or not you're in the right (I think you are-she sounds bonkers) you'll come out of it looking bad.

Either text or phone her to say you've found her comments unjustified and hurtful, and until you've sorted things out you're going to defriend her.

Just block her. That will drive her more nuts than anything you can say.

If blocking seems too extreme, if you just "unfollow" her, her madness won't come up on your news feed.

I would just ignore. The people that know you both well will know her accusations are groundless, and her little crew won't change their minds, and will always back her up, anyway.

I texted her to point out the ridiculousness of what she's saying given her and my kids ages and she's ignored me but then posted "jealousy trying to justify itself is so unbecoming sis" on fb. I've not said anything else since. Her crew are all saying I'm pathetic and I've always been jealous of her and they're surprised my husband isn't a carbon copy of hers (they actually couldn't be more different).

I think you're right, just block and move on. I'm just feeling so frustrated with it though as I feel like I can't defend myself against ridiculous accusations.

My sister used to try this crap with me. We're nc (lots and lots of issues not just this but her constant lying about me and others in order to keep friendships was a big factor) she struggles to come up with anything plausible. She's after drama so withdraw and don't feed her.

What do others say about her comments? Does she have any friends?

I have no idea??? She's always liked to think she's better than me. She's a very outgoing person, super popular, I'm the opposite. Can be quite anxious, bit of a nerd, I tend to roll over to keep peace quite a lot.
