I'm sure Rihanna is crying in her bed at the moment because you're so happy she 'flopped' OP. Even though it has already been said that this is not the case and her album has not actually flopped.

Oddly enough when Taylor Swift makes similar videos and writes similar song lyrics she's not put up as a target in the same way that Rihanna is.

Yes Chenjin But obviously she's not to be subjected to the same criticism as Rihanna usually is. I hope this pushes Rihanna further to write more and produce more videos. I'm not a fan of some of the lyrics both singers write but it'd be nice for Rihanna to have a day off from a criticism that actually befalls all her contemporaries incl Taylor Swift.

I have spoken with my dds about this and gone through the song lyrics of the musicians they like including rihanna, beyonce, onedirection, taylor swift, miley cyrus etc..

My dds are mixed and some of them have long loose curly hair, blue eyes and pale skin, whilst my other dds have brown eyes, curly hair and tanned skin. I have been through this a million times with them. The fact that Rihanna and Beyonce are constantly pulled up on their songs and videos whereas Miley and Taylor are not is not a logic lost on me or my dds.

I mention their looks because it's been a constant in their lives. Their parents are different races, they even look different from each other so it matters to me to tell them as it is.

I don't really care what singers wear (or don't wear as the case may be) on stage or off it. Their bodies their business.

However I think Miley and Rihanna are pushing sex, drugs and money in their promotion for their music. Ibprefer both Miley and Rihanna's earlier music but actually think both of their recent albums have been pretty crap. Maybe that's why they feel the need to exert their dominance and sexuality over the music - because underneath it all their musics gone a bit crap.

The biggest selling artist is Adele - who doesn't need to gyrate or wear nothing to promote her album. Whether you like Adele or not, she is breaking the mould and proving that it's not industry executive making these women act this way.
