Seem to remember an episode of outnumbered where the mum took her teenage boy to task. Very funny episode.

There's a but of pearl clutching here.

Can anyone honestly say they havnt ogled a bloke in a pub and objectified him? And we are adults.

Seem to remember my dh getting told off many moons ago for drawing cocks. He got the cane in those days. Funnily enough he hasn't become a sex pest.

The DNA comment is hilarious. Seriously don't be too smug and 'my child would never go that'

Usually means they do and will and the shock will be huge.

In my 26 years of parenting I have learned never be smug as it just bites you in the arse. Grin

ItchyArmpits · 27/01/2016 17:15

That's just disgusting, and unbelievably disrespectful.

Furiosa · 27/01/2016 17:26

I'm also a bit Hmm at the fact I asked what if a teenage girl had wrote it but was told they didn't so that doesn't matter.

However someone else asked what if it was about a teenage girl and that was considered fine line of questioning!

I think there is a bit of cherry picking of the argument here but more importantly where the hell is the OP?!?!

BertrandRussell · 27/01/2016 17:29

"I'm also a bit hmm at the fact I asked what if a teenage girl had wrote it but was told they didn't so that doesn't matter"

You asked me that. You obviously misremember my reply.Hmm

BertrandRussell · 27/01/2016 17:30

This is what I said.

"But a teenage girl didn't.

If she had, that would be a different issue. Still not funny, though."

Hihohoho1 · 27/01/2016 17:34

Teenage girls write and draw equally sexual things.

They are teenagers. They will mature.

Ffs people.

Nodowntime · 27/01/2016 17:34

I'm completely amazed about everyone who took the note so seriously and took massive offence and started making all sorts of assumptions and projection.
(Also it was OBVIOUS that she went into the pocket before putting the coat in the washing machine, like every mum does - though I am amazed about the fact that her teenager wears a coat too, but then he must be only 14, probably in his last year of agreeing to do so).

I think it's probably cultural differences, all this protestantism, a whiff of Cromwell on the thread. If I found a note like that, I'd retch and laugh at the same time, surely not make a big deal of it. I'm not English though, I'm actually going to ask my French, Portuguese and Spanish friends about their opinion of this incident, and I'm sure none of them would understand what all the hooha is about.

I once overheard my DS and DD discussing, how their (male) friends sometimes tell them 'your mum is hot', and my DD said she hates it so much(I was 20 when had DS, and 23 when had DD, so a young mum for my eldest). I totally get what she means, though when I was a teenager, I'd prefer that my peers thought my mum was hot that than the opposite...I mean, obviously I'd rather no-one alluded to sexual appeal of my parents at all!

Anyway, the note was stupid, the picture was eeww (in spite of having two DSs I've never come across a picture of a dick in our house!) However are all the high moralists on this thread who have teenage DSs going to police their sons thoughts and imagination? Do they think the word tits (and others? )would never enter their respectful sons' mind and mind's eye? Don't forget, he didn't actually write it for her! He actually might not care for her bosoms, and wrote whatever he thought would wind up her DS most!!

As someone else mentioned, I didn't notice at first because couldn't bear to look too close )), WHY does it say Dad next to the cock?

molyholy · 27/01/2016 17:34

bertrand I totally agree with you, but fear you are wasting your breath. Pp's are not getting your point. Which is a shame.

PollyPerky · 27/01/2016 17:39

Coming to this a bit late and nt RTFT altogether but what relation are you to the boy?

I assumed that the Mrs H in the note was his teacher- and you are his mum?

Or even that someone else (his mates) wrote the note and he happened to pocket it.
?

I think it's a devilishly funny joke/prank between teenage boys,

But,

I would heave a bit and probably be horrified if it was my son and friend.

Latindancingofficewitch · 27/01/2016 17:51

I should have been more specific. This was NOT a note in his pocket, it was actually written on the washing instructions label which I have removed. My ds did not know it was there. Not that I am in anyway implying that he is some sort of Angel!!!

Latindancingofficewitch · 27/01/2016 17:53

I only check pockets when I'm doing laundry as kids tend to leave all sorts which will either ruin a whole load of washing or break the machine

caitlinohara · 27/01/2016 17:56

I don't think it's sinister either, just not particularly funny and certainly not flattering, which is what the OP asked. And yes of course most teenage boys draw stuff like this and are inappropriate, but they don't grow out of it if no one points out to them that it's inappropriate, do they?

Furiosa · 27/01/2016 17:56

Bertrand can you tell me why you think it would be different if it was a girl?

Honestly I'm just curious as me and my friend would do similar stuff when we were teenagers.

Furiosa · 27/01/2016 17:58

Latindancingofficewitch are you the OP?

Floggingmolly · 27/01/2016 18:03

Oh. Hmm. If you are the op, then yes, you did leave out some rather salient points.

MyballsareSandy2015 · 27/01/2016 18:12

God some people are humourless!! I recently met up with three other couples (all late 40s) to draw up a list of stuff we need for a holiday ... when I looked at it more closely the following day I noticed several cocks doodled onto it.

MightyMug · 27/01/2016 18:13

Lol at name change cock up!

Definitely fridge! yuk!

PollyPerky · 27/01/2016 18:16

Please- who is Mrs H in the message and what relationship is she (if any) to the boy?

I am really horrified at how upset some posters are here.
As a former teacher in sec schools, what is drawn or written on the desks was 100 times worse!

This is just normal teenage boy behaviour.

BertrandRussell · 27/01/2016 18:16

It's not the boys. It's not the drawings of cocks.......

Oh, I give up.g

molyholy · 27/01/2016 18:17

Okay. Scenario if a girl did it:

My dd's 14yr old friend wrote a note to my 40yr old husband, which I found in her school bag. It said 'you have a gorgeous cock mr moly x x x '. With a pair of breasts and an ejaculating penis on it. My dh was really flattered by it, put the teenage girls drawing on an internet forum, asking other men if he should be made up with it. I myself, thought it was hilarious. What are teenage girls like eh. Hahahah

No. It wouldn't be funny if girls did it either. In fact, if this scenario had roles reversed, it would be fucking creepy.
