to think no one has ever said "oh thats a nice neck tattoo"

I'm probably being a horrible judgemental person. But I've yet to see a neck tattoo that doesn't look hideous.

Are there any out there?

Probably against the rules to attach a public photo from a dating site but seen quite a few baddies

Not my thing, but then I've not known people who have neck tattoos be bothered by the fact that I don't (or anywhere else for that matter) so why should it bother me that they do.

On the whole I'm not a fan of neck ones and I don't like my brother in laws but I've seen some stunning ones that are total works of art. But I'm a fan of tattoos.

I've said it at least 4 times in the last fortnight. I think they can look awesome if done right and there is an amazing tattoo artist around here.

I have seen quite a few bad ones too, usually done by a mate with a kit bought from ebay.

Haven't in RL but looked at some on-line and see some very pretty ones - though I have no tattoos and no plans to get any.

I am a tattoo expert as I watch Tattoo Fixers (or Ta-oo as it seems to be known) every week Grin

Neck tattoos are grim. In fact, apart from a tiny handful of small, pretty tattoos I've seen, all of them are pretty grim imo, but neck and face ones are the worst.

Everybody is a judgemental person. Some people just do not voice their judgements. Grin Other than to accuse people of being judgemental and looking down on them for it.
I agree, Neck Tattoos look awful ( an opinion)
I think most Tattoos anywhere on the body look awful. The person may be lovely,..the Tatoo never is. Grin

I think the neck is a popular place for the wonky ex-girlfriends name type tattoo judging by the ones I have seen but I can't say I'd find a well drawn tattoo ugly just because it's on someones neck.

Anyway YABU because, I, in fact have said on many an ocassion "I love that tattoo". Especially neck tattoos on women. I find tattoos sexy. However it's on one condition, it's been done by a professional ARTIST. To me it is art, and I enjoy art. I go to many galleries & to buck the trend even further, I am very middle class..... Faint!

I also have tattoos all over my body. All art, not random butterflies/tribal etc but meaningful artwork. If I wasn't in a very professional career I would have them very much in display & on my neck & above my eye on the side of my forehead.

Yes, you are horrible. Good luck with the dating.

Agree, l personally don't like tattoos and do secretly judge. I'm the only one in my family without one so l do keep it to myself (apart from on anonymous forums Grin)

My ex went and got himself a massive black tattoo that went up over his neck. I was horrified but his Mother thought it was 'lovely' when I talked to her about it 😕

I saw a beautiful one that began as a spiderweb and became a landscape.

I'm a sucker for a pretty neck, so I found it particularly striking. I didn't say anything, though, as I suspect that would come off as creepy....

...well, creepier than staring at a girls neck with an appreciative expression.

I don't like neck or chest tattoos. I can appreciate if they're well done (I love tattoo fixers), but few tattoos are well done and look like badly doodled pictures.

I think that the thing that riles people about tattoos is that they are so permanent. I genuinely believe that if there wore off after say 6 months then no one would have an issue with them.

I know you can now get them removed, but it's not a quick (or cheap) process.
