To think this is inappropriate

My friends ex husband is nearly 40 and has a new girlfriend who is barely out of her teens.

I know they are both adults but still, it's a bit inappropriate surely? She's closer in age to his eldest child than she is to him.

But I thought the op said the woman she is talking about is just out her teens.. So in her twenties no?
The op sounds like she's got a bee in her bonnet over two people who couldn't care less what she thinks.. I imagine her pals ex hubby is enjoying himself anyway lol

Yes, I imagine he is ... Hmm

Barely out of her teens means she turned 20 this winter.

Well i am 25 years younger than dh's ex and when she first heard about me she was calling me his child bride and everything it was so petty and she made a right show of herself. Very embarrassing.

My BD and his GF have an age gap of 14 years. She was 18 when they met, he was 32. They have been together 9 years and have a good relationship. They met at work.

I dated a guy who was 34 when I was 18, nothing creepy about it at all! Apart from the bad serenading I received in the middle of a city on a Saturday night.
I then went on to date a 50 year old when I was 24.

I don't even look at age, just personality. As long as the younger person is a consenting adult then what does it matter?!
